S1DDO Posted 8 February Posted 8 February Skubala for me, if we don’t get him now, he won’t want to drop down a level next season 3
Incognito Posted 8 February Posted 8 February If its Russel Martin (or Wayne Rooney for that matter), my direct debit is being stopped and they can have my season ticket back. 3

Yeah 7 years bet he's exactly the same, the expectation at Stoke compared to being an interim here would be completely different so actually you referencing Stoke is pretty irrelevant

Clever Fox Posted 8 February Posted 8 February Skubala looks like he'd be an excellent choice for where we are. Well educated unlike many in Football, He clearly has something special about him, All he lacks is a little experience. He's also worked with England and Leeds and doing a great job with Lincoln. He won't be available for long if we dont move quick.

He’s done nothing to suggest he would be a good appointment, everything about him is pretty rancid, he’s a small club man. 1

Leicesterpool Posted 8 February Posted 8 February Unlikely we get a manager before Tuesday's game, is it likely we will have manager by next Saturday. I'd be interested to know, who everyone things it'll be rather than who you want? From online Rowett has been offered the job, but wouldn't surprise me if he ends up at Blackburn and Andy King is still in charge.

We're on about being on a interim basis as well, so again different situation to Stoke

I’d like us to get Skubala but can’t see it happening.
Aleksz Posted 8 February Posted 8 February Problem with Rowett is I would imagine Blackburn are offering him a lot more of a longer term deal than us. I know where I’d go if we were only offering a deal until the end of the season. Mind you, also a possibility we’d offer him a 5 year deal and keys to the city
Death by Football Posted 8 February Posted 8 February This is going to be really awkward for top and rudders as no sensible manager has put themselves forward and now they’re going to have to figure out how to proactively recruit a manager rather than accept someone’s application highlighting their desire to play 90% of the teams passes between the centre backs. 1
Bluetintedspecs Posted 8 February Posted 8 February Rowett makes most sense to me, I think his experience would enable him to firefight, organise, inject some authority, discipline, belief and get us to safety
Cincinnati Fox Posted 8 February Posted 8 February 2 weeks and nothing, total mismanagement again!! its not going to improve until top is gone. 2
