An email into pubcast for someone said they'd bumped into Russel Martin in Brighton and asked him about the job, and he'd said he was offered it till the end of the season and turned it down, but would co.e for an 18 month contract

I think we’re getting turned down by various managers hence why everyday it seems someone else is favourite to take over. 
We are a mess. 
It will come down to someone actually wanting the job rather than them making a decent appointment.

I think it will be Rowett until end of season, can’t see the club tying any manager down to a 2-3 year deal at this point.

This does make me wonder why the betting was suspended randomly then nothing. Maybe they thought we had our manager, but then got turned down. Matches another post on here as well. (Not searching for the post)

Does make sense when your sat opposite an absolute melt in Jon Rudkin. Although there will be chancers that will see it as an opportunity to make easy money given the contracts handed out to the likes of Vestergaard and Luke Thomas.

'The' betting get suspended when someone puts £5 on. This is not a market where a lot money changes hands so the bookies put very tight limits to ensure they can balance the books easily.

I’ll take it. Even if I fail I’ll still get the remaining 3 years of my contract it’s a win, win. First day I’d cancel all training at seagrave, get us moved into the dirtiest coldest park, make them all travel there and back by confidence bus. Also going for runs in the rain up bradgate. £2500 deducted from the wages for each goal conceded. £2500 for every goal scorer or assist maker.
