That’s how it’s done, had someone in mind before sacking the manager, I do believe we’re just trying to save a bit of cash and hoping Kingy can muddle our way through to safety. 1
BrilliantFox Posted 12 February Posted 12 February Still no manager news, when can we end the club already? I'm really done. We have a fanbase that still attends matches and funds this ownership, we are never getting out of this mess. 1

He clearly can't. He needs help. The reverse against Southampton should highlight that to the board. It may be a blessing in disguise! We do have 14 games left to save us. Surely Nobkin can see, Kingy can't get us over the line 2

We get 3pts with a manager against Southampton from the position we were in. Rudkin is obviously useless, there is no money and not having a manager in for a bit probably allows us to pay some bills. Or as others have said we are being knocked back by everyone we approach. 1

Reg Vardy Posted 12 February Posted 12 February In my opinion, we appointed Cooper,RVN & Martieither in a rush, or without really thinking about whats required.....all three managers suffered from a playing squad that was simply not good enough fot the job...never had a prayer. job description Keep us up Challenge for title next year Develop undoubted young talent Sign wisely Personally no problem with Dyche.....and think we could get him 1

alanf0x Posted 12 February Posted 12 February Imagine how threatened the DOF would feel when Dyche turned up at meetings with his management team ready to argue there points. Dyche isn't the yes man that Rudders and Bottom want. Would probably only offer Dyche the job if he takes Saddler and King to dilute his power. 2
CarolinaFox Posted 12 February Posted 12 February Really hope fans in the stands for the next match are vocal if a manager has not been appointed by the end of the week. This level of neglect is unacceptable. No manager, no technical director, no CEO. For me the lack of a manager doesn't read as incompetence as much as total neglect. This is not a proactive club, its a reactive, knee-jerk club. Everything is last minute, slap-dash. The kit and kit sponsor, took ages. Managerial appointment going on 18 days. A technical director candidate was mentioned and now that's fizzled out. Absolute dumpster fire of a club. 1

We took months to get Cooper and Marti

To be fair, it's much easier to attract and appoint someone when your clubs isn't in complete shambles. Our slowness to appoint is as much about our current situation as it is the incompetencies of those involved (which I know itself is a terrible indictment of their stewardship).
MrsJohnMurphy Posted 12 February Posted 12 February Aren't Dyche and Dudkin good mates? That's enough reason not to want him

We took months to get Cooper and Marti The 3 week delay at the start of the season getting put him on a hiding to nothing, especially with the fitness of the players. Time and time again the clubs ‘leadership’ are weak as p*ss. So f***ing inept it’s unreal.

If Rudkin and Top are to remain, our club needs a leader who can turn us around in spite of them, not because of them. We can't actually win because either way because if they stay we're just going to continue being in trouble as they'll likely clash with the right manager. We won't get someone who will come in and call them out, which is really what we need. Edited 12 February by Stuntman_Mike 1

Dyche won’t come nowhere near TOP he’s worse than the clown at Forest! In which case League 1 here we come.
Les-TA-Jon Posted 12 February Posted 12 February We operate at a snail's pace Maresca leaves – 3rd June 2024 Cooper appointed – 20th June 2024 (17 day gap) Cooper sacked – 24th Nov 2024 RVN appointed – 29th Nov 2024 (5 day gap) RVN sacked – 27th June Cifuentes appointed – 15th July (18 day gap) Cifuentes sacked – 25th Jan 18 days and counting… 1

They would have known they were sacking RVN from the end of the previous season. Edited 12 February by Sol thewall Bamba 4

FoxinNotts Posted 12 February Posted 12 February For what it's worth, I think we talked to Rowett. We told Rowett we we're interviewing a few, including him. We also interviewed ' X ', who was a main target. 'X' is dithering, taking too long to answer us. I think we're probably talking seriously to Rowett again, following Blackburn moving on from him. This is all pure guess work btw
