I just cannot believe the pure INCOMPETENCE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I saw the thread go ‘hot’ and thought “maybe there’s news”. But this was the first message I read. Of course there’s no news. Why would there be? We’re run by ****tards

Is there anything even a rumour that we have even interviewed anyone?

Someone said yesterday that we offered it to someone and they turned us down. But then someone else said that we actually turned them down.

We dont know who that someone is and if any of the rumours are remotely true.

Thats it.

We're a far more attractive proposition to a lot of teams around us - there's time to salvage our position, and then they'd in a strong position to get the role permanently. Rudkin and the others have no excuse for being slower than competitors.

Look at what they'd be stepping into though.

How many positions are currently vacant around/above them?

I wonder if they're applying, then realising just how much of a shitshow it is behind the scenes, then walking away from it.

I always wonder this. I never speak to anyone who is 'KPFC' or thinks Rudkin or Top are doing a good job.

It's just that everything seems to have to be a binary, polarised culture war now. People seem unable to have an opinion unless there's a group they can oppose who think the opposite

I guess I'm doing that now too 😂

We're shit and it's miserable. I can confidently say 99.9% people think the same, but lots on this forum seem to think there's a civil war between them and other (imaginary) fans.

I beg to disagree, every time I post on the BBC (inevitably after another shocking performance), laying the blame squarely at the feet of the terrible two, the post gets hammered, I am "ungrateful", and "the present owner won the prem".

I've been going since the 60s and have had a season ticket since the late 1980s. The club has had lots of ups and downs including administration when we shamefully failed to pay local contractors. The club is now in an existential crisis, we could face liquidation in League One and administration in the Championship after next season. What Vichai brought to the club was a sense of purpose, he led but he also served. Unfortunately Top does not have all of his father's qualities, his father would have sacked many of the football people years ago. IF Top were to recognise that he has to rid himself of his current DofF and recruit a team of specialist football admin people to run the club with him as a 'figurehead' and 'link to his father' I'd be content. If he won't he should sell it. Taking Andy King as an example, how many other people at the club have been but in positions of responsibility that they are struggling to cope with - essentially hung out to dry. The club needs - a manager NOW, TODAY  - and competent football professionals above him to turn it around. We have wasted three league games in which a competent Championship manager might have salvaged at least 3 points (against Southampton). As for clapping the team during a game , yes I do that as I don't want to make it toxic for them while they are playing ... but I don't clap them off after the performances we have been turning in. We need CHANGE urgently and fans should be together as we all want the best for our club. Oh ... will I renew my season ticket, yes even in League One - because that is where we are undoubtedly heading. I have faith but not blind faith.

Vichai did hold people accountable, but then he would because he built a business from the ground up.

Top doesn’t have that same mindset or leadership capacity. Which is exactly the reason we’re in a mess!

Just f**k it all off and go into admin. Flog the club for a quid  start again in league 1

Go into  admin now get the points deduction this season gives us a chance to reset   Or keep KP in as tops toy and tax writeoff and decline through the leagues without a clue.
sick of it all now to be honest

Maybe, but it's a short-term deal so shouldn't be that much of an issue. A change is a constant, especially in football.

Take a look at how Blackburn's owners have handled the club, and you'd expect managers would run a mile but they haven't.

I said as soon as Marti was sacked that I expected King to be manager for the rest of the season.

The reasons being that the financial position is absolutely dire & it's saving a manager's salary, not to mention a Chief exec's & Technical director's salary. Also that it would be difficult to recruit a new manager as it is a very unattractrive job at present. Idiot owner, incompetent Dof, half the team don't want to be here, toxic atmosphere, probable relegation, unable to bring players in etc.

Top is gambling that King will keep us up (he won't) but unfortunately he is gambling on the very existance of the club

I am hearing Aiyawatt does not want to sack the current manager, Andy King, as it would be disrespectful to the King of Thailand.

(I reckon if I went undercover on the KPFC Facebook page, I could get that theory to stick)

Of course, Pliskin AND DAS Boot could both be right! A prospective Manager turned us down ..... and we pulled out of a deal for another Manager.

I wouldn't be surprised if Skibala turned us down (for the reasons I've given earlier) and KP pulled out a prospective deal for Martin, because they couldn't face the expected (and completely understandable) backlash from fans!

Martin got married at the weekend apparently.

A 2 week honeymoon in the Maldives balls deep in Lucy Pinder twice a day, or a 3 month stint at the KP trying to induce more than a jog out of Jordan Ayew. Tough choice!

Kingy has said he doesn't want the job.

However, if Top and Jon don't appoint anyone (and I don't believe they intend to) then Kingy has to keep on going until 1 of 3 things happens.

1) He leads us to safety- which we know won't happen.

2) Kingy can't save us and we're relegated and Kingy is the public face of our relegation and therefore the scapegoat. This is already happening btw.

3) Kingy clocks what's happening here and walks away.....he then becomes the club legend who walked away when the club was at its most desperate - and guess what....he becomes the scapegoat anyway.

I am convinced this isn't all total incompetence. It's also deeply, deeply cynical from the two parasites that 'run' this club.

So, if they do 2 and King stays, as fans we must continue to sing his song all season, and make sure he and the board knows what we think about it.

I would bet he's not received a pay increase for taking on the extra responsibilty.

Spot on, what many don't factor in is the mindset of top coaches and players ,they didn't get to the top of the tree by "doing ok" at successful clubs, they excelled at failing or mediocre clubs and so moved up the ladder.

The mindset to do this is "I can do what others can't because I'm brilliant".

Hence players move to clubs in the absolute belief that they are better than the present occupier of their position, despite all the evidence to the contrary, and managers are not put off by a seemingly poor squad or useless owner.

And of course a payout of a few million if things go T.U.is a slight consolation !

Lucy might want the job given her alternatives

No doubt this is true, but those comments sound like they're coming from fans of other clubs.

The amount of hate and frustration-fuelled posts of pure conjecture and supposition in this thread are understandable given the situation we find ourselves in... but it makes for some really uncomfortable reading.

And this is exactly what Rudkin and Top are hinging everything on. Let King be the fall guy and let him take the flak. They think it diverts attention away from themselves but not all the fans are stupid. Some are, mostly the KPFC in bunch.

Everyone else can see the wood for the trees...

Exactly this.  I think I said something similar in the Cifuentes Out thread... that this talk of who the new manager is diverts attention away from Top, and when a new guy comes in, people concentrate on a potential upturn and by the time the fanbase turn on the new manager because all of the same problems that we've seen through the last 6 managers will still exist, we'll be so close to the end of the season there's nothing that anyone can do.  The major benefit for Top and Rudkin is that the attention is drawn away from them.

At least King is someone the fans can get behind, who we know has the club in his heart.

At the end of the day nobody wants to see the team relegated and the fans need to separate their frustrations.  Team performance is woeful, but we need to try and get behind the team to push them over the line.  At the same time, the second problem is the almost criminal way the club is being run.  That needs a serious, co-ordinated and sustained response.  Two problems that need fixing in two different ways.   It's a very difficult balance to strike.

Can I be one of the the blokes who just sits on the bench during a game doing nothing except chewing gum and occasionally nodding in agreement with the manager? Or the bloke who hands out the drinks bottles or one of the blokes who just watches the game on a monitor and occasionally points at the screen? In fact I could do all of those jobs at the same time.

So you are now Conrad Logan

Yup. But I'm not sure how long I'll be in this job, @Pliskinhas just punched a senior member of staff....not looking good people.

First post of call after sticking the nut on Ayew, is to book a team building trip to La Manga.
