All Aussie-dominant picks but I don't think all of them will be runaways. Archer/Wood probably the closest England player to Starc in terms of numbers of wickets, but injuries probably mean they won't play as much? 

 

Runs is between Smith and Root. Backing Root to finally get his Aussie ton though!

Excited to be going for a while, so would be brill if we can nick the 1st test.  These days results in most tests so expect 4 results at least.

Appreciate you have to take 20 wickets BUT we HAVE to put scores on the board, scoreboard pressure in the end, 350 or ideally 400 required in at least 3 tests to have any chance.

Time to beat a big boy, we can't get over the Australia & India line AND then hide behind the "bazball" thing when they have a brain meltdown like Brook in the last India test.  Time for a few of the batters to grow up & occasionally play the situation in the game.

Do a lot of that and they have a chance, also get a good start, vital.  

There is no crowd here roaring them back into the series, this ones been built up, if it goes badly or some make stupid mistakes, they're going to set some from the press and Aussies.

Defining moment for many of them IF they can get on the right side of this series result, look at 2010/11-batting monsters won the series.

Definitely. I doubt Bashir plays in the first 2 Tests at least.

Imagine it will be Bashir or Carse. I'd probably have had Tongue ahead of Carse for a bit of variety if they do go with all seamers.

I think Carse will have a really good Series, just a hunch. He can bat too.
