I did think they put in more fight tonight and that Marti had instilled something in them but they got some stupid decisions from the ref and are so utterly devoid of confidence that the basics are not working at the moment.  Tonight is going to damage that further.  They just need to keep pushing and fighting.  Hiring and firing managers every 2 seconds is not the solution

Mavadidi had been on five minutes and got turned by a player who had played a full 90 and grafted enough to get booked, by the way. Surprised I didn't catch him yawning during the replay.

 

Lazy sod. I think we need a thread where we count up which players have cost us the most points over the course of the season, because those two dropped today are 100% on him and Okoli not putting in the bare minimum.

Tbf he played a lot better tonight then he has done. And im always slating him. Attack and the lack of it was the problem tonight

He was also through on goal and after a clever turn and run. Until he was fouled for the red card

 

Some people just refuse to see the positives.

Yea he didn't do well there should have closed the player down and fouled him, he was pumping the crowd not long before and got there man sent off.

 

Probably should have started though tbf but yea point still stands.

I mean, we didn't exactly do anything with the man advantage did we? Besides sit even deeper and throw away two points, that is.

 

I'm not going to praise him for a half-completed run he could well have skied into row Z, when five minutes later, with supposed fresh legs, he's getting turned by someone who had been running around for an hour and a half longer than he had. Unless his fitness levels really are so atrocious that he tires himself out quicker than I do in five a side after six pints the night before?

 

Our players are just so lazy man. I'm sick to death of it.
