He was knocking it about in the warm ups so basic fitness doesn't seem to be an issue but we already have two CBs out for the season and Lascelles who struggles with a full 90 so he won't be risked unless theres a major issue I'd guess.

 

I did wonder if we'd bring him on late and chuck Lurch up front again for desperate flick ons

Nah... chose to utilize the statue Ayew and Ried to equalize and overcome!!! Not sure why you would think of alternate solutions!!! This pair has led to humongous glamor!!!

Shows how bad our defence has been all season that 60 minutes of Soutter stands out so much. 

 

Next season we need defenders who can actually defend first and foremost. Defenders who are better without the ball, than with it.

 

He's probably only playing cause Nelson, Okoli and Lascelles are out. Which sums up this team and manager.

I like him. But if anyone's offering £10m for a bloke who's been fit for about 6 minutes since we signed him, snap their hand off.
