We all know Teflon Jon is an incompetent DoF and is part culpribable for our current woes, but he doesn't deserve chants of this content.

I do agree with others who say it's a shame the club is quick to fire off a statement when one of the clowns feels a bit abused, but are unwilling to comment on the fact that their own stupidiity in turn is

abusing the club and also the fans and has been for a number of years.

 

It just a shame that at the next managers Pre-match press conference we dont have a journalist who would ask some real challanging questions,  who's taking accountability for the fvck ups, why haven't you learnt from your mistakes, Marti, why do you continue to play Daka, Ayew, Skip, Wout,  etc etc.

 

Yes, I'm not nieve and know this would never happen and all questions are probably vetted, not to mention the brave journalist would never be invited back. 

 

But god it would be great to see the club and representatives squirm with nowhere to hide when challenged in an official environment.

After failing to acknowledge anything the club has done wrong over the past few years. The one time fans have done something Kim Jon top and his dog jon Rudkin have decided enough is enough and the fans have required a club statement. But I agree the chants are to far but they need to realise why they are happening instead of ignoring it

Yes the chant sang sounds disgusting and should never be sang about another human being, however shame on them for only responding to this as cheap point scoring attempt at gaining moral high ground over their own supporters knowing full well it was only a very small drunk minority! More the reason to loath them really!

 

This does not change the fact they are incompetent and can’t run a football club.

See I'm in the minority of people where I think it's just words, no idea how people can be offended by his stuff.

 

Same with the helicopter gestures and all that, if you genuinely care about that stuff then you've not got enough problems in your life IMO.

If the chant others have quoted in this thread is what was sung, that's horrible. Wishing death on anyone is awful.

 

However, as others have also pointed out, there's no real acknowledgement here (as ever) from the club as to why this might be being sung. There are plenty of twats in our fan base and at games, but to my knowledge, this is the first time this has been sung. Surely that speaks to the frustration in the fan base? I mean even acknowledging supporter frustration and anger while condemning the chants would have showed some awareness. This just reads as "some people want to kill our DoF".

 

Stupid from those fans who sang it, but tone deaf from the club for not acknowledging—even for a second—why things have got to this point of extremity.

 

And I think people are right: This will probably make it worse.

Its literally a stolen chant that Man United fans have sang about the Glazers for years. Like anyone in Leicesters fanbase could create an actual unique chant 😂

Chant is clearly unacceptable, but the brass neck of the club to write "The people who represent Leicester City work with dedication and integrity every day" is beyond parody.  Same people of integrity who charge kids for autographs, who signed off bc.game (twice) , fiddled the books for PSR, ripped it's own fans off on price collusion with JD sports.

 

Chants were bad.

Club can f**k off if they think they can take the moral high ground and claim integrity.

Protests outside the ground/seagrave tomorrow day/night I think ramp up get it circulating on social media would surely gain some attention! Sack the board banners etc?

Soviet Union FC. I, for one, am happy that the club are getting upset by this. Obviously, you can debate about the method you use, but let’s be honest here: it is about time that the club are held accountable. Obviously, I do not condone chants that incite murder, but I welcome the club finally understanding that people are unhappy about the way in which the club has sleepwalked into regression. You know, of course, there is a simple solution here. Rather than censoring criticism, Rudkin could just retire. The club need to take criticism for this as well. The communication (or lack of) and failure to take accountability for overseeing one of the biggest declines ever in English football has only added fuel to the fire. If this was any other organisation, Rudkin would’ve been greeted with tangible consequences years ago. It’s actually scandalous that the club have blatantly ignored this.
