Why can we not play well or even okay over a full game?

 

Every game this season feels like were a different team every time we come out the tunnel. It does not make sense. Its very worrying and its more than just Marti to me.

Why are we so unfit? Why are we muscled out of most challenges? Why do we lose most headers, in both boxes? Why do we not have any mental strength? Why do we lack desire?

I think some of it is poor attitude from players, but I think it’s mainly to do with a cowardly approach from the manager. Sometimes we are too tentative to come out the blocks and try to score, other times we are scared of losing a lead and just think sitting deep and doing nothing will make it all go away.


It’s common with professional football managers which I find very odd - losing doesn’t kill you it’s just a thing that happens in football. Being scared to lose instead of having the will and belief to win is pathetic when you’re on the money these people are on with nothing serious really riding on the result, compared with people in normal jobs.

 

If people genuinely believe our fitness isn’t up to scratch then every single member of the coaching staff should be sacked and publicly laid into in a statement before their heads hit the pillow tonight. That’s the very basics of professional sport.

Want to start by clarifying that I do not think Marti has been good, but I do think we could cut a little bit of slack. Went into today without an out and out midfielder on the bench, makes it hard to make changes and James was clearly shattered. Really unsure why it wasn’t Ricardo/Aluko straight away. Really buzzing Daka is off to AFCON. Think the first two 3-0’s were some of the willy pullers on the pitch, think today was tiredness in large parts although he was wayyyy too negative. Derby we don’t really have any excuses for

He's taking up all the slack to hang himself with the sack 

 

He will be sacked sooner or later,  I honestly don't believe he's up to the job
