I did always quite like him but blimey. He looked to really drop off in the last couple of years - for obvious sort of reasons.

Depends what salary he wants and how bad the injury wasΒ

he was on 85k so at half 40kΒ

would be a risk given our financial predicament.

Rather see if Evan’s could do anything firstΒ

AyewΒ Reid and now Antonio what a bleak trio of forwards. Will show there is still no strategy and just throwing stupid money at players who are finished

Especially as Vardy is rumoured to be on €35k basicΒ

IF we can get him on a 6 month deal before re-evaluating, and if it's not on stupid money like 80k a week, and IF we can get Winks off the books and send Carranza back, i'd take him on a short term emergency deal. Guy is an absolute handful and at this level he could get 10 goals from the remaining games which is a massive upgrade on what we have now.Β

I'd compromise and offer 50k a week if the above conditions can be met.Β

β€œI’m speaking to clubs right now to see where the best offer is for me to go, and we’ll just see how it goes,” he toldΒ talkSPORTΒ in August after close friend Callum Wilson took his number nine shirt at West Ham”

Β

Trained with Brentford for 10 days but that was because they were allegedly localΒ

Talking to clubs in August and no one has gone near him since?

Β

Stupid demands or the injury ruined him

Β

Stay awayyyy

50k x25 weeks is 1.2m that money could be used on a good youngster on lower wage with resale valueΒ

Β

if we were a well run club that isΒ

Or even a loan fee

Β

Much better ways to use that kind of money

If he trained with us and ripped the piss, ok, have a proper look.Β  But he's another footballer who was moving heavily into the media space before his accident.Β  You'd imagine since the accident that's ramped up.Β  So is he essentially the new Coady?

Absolutely no chance he’s getting offered Β£50k a week. That would be ludicrous even if he’s not had a bad injury when you take his age into account as well.Β
Β

It would surely be a real basic wage and a more performance incentivised contract.Β

He was a nightmare for our defenders to play against a few years ago but I understand he's washed now?

Β

We dont need more experienced pros running down their career here, we need to be thinking of the future and developing the young talent we have in Monga, Evans and Hutchinson who will be competing for the same positions.

Β

The win now approach at the expense of squad planning does not work.

Look at our recent negotiation skills with past it players.Β
I’m not holding out much hope of us offering a sensible deal.Β
Instead we will give him a 5 year contract and he’ll be on over 10m a year. The Rudkin way.Β
