Its not an "opinion" to be complicit in King Power propaganda, you're simply tools of Aiyawatt's regime and he has you on strings.

We're on track to become Sheffield Wednesday :revenge:

I'm not anything. I haven't told you what my opinion is. But what you've written is nonsense about those holding that opinion.

Fair, I may consider it when one of them actually comes up with a valid opinion on why they think Top and his board are the right people to carry on running the club.

"Be careful what you wish for"

" we won the league and fa cup"

"We were in league one once" are not valid opinions on why we should be happy for Top and his board to continue but if anyone else has any valid points for me to consider, then im all ears.

In your opinion they aren’t valid, that doesn’t make it a fact.

Well people can use them but there are counter arguments for all of them.

Be careful what you wish for? Well I certainly don't wish my club to be in the disgusting state it currently is.

We won the league and the fa Cup? These will never be forgotten but we had a different owner then that sadly died and the success doesn't give his son a free pass to destroy the club.

We were in league one once? And we will be again very soon and possibly even worse with Top in charge.

But im still waiting for any genuine good reasons why anyone thinks Top is the right person to continue running the club.

Edit:realised after I posted that Top was in charge when we won the fa Cup but I still don't see how this gives him a free pass.

Even if we go down the argument that KP have been our best ever owners with the success we've had, that doesn't mean we should now accept them being one of the worst owners we've ever had with the way they are destroying the club.

Shilton was one of our greatest ever keepers but that doesn't mean I want him playing now.

Can we stop calling people brainwashed just because they have a different opinion? This is a problem both within our support and wider country.

Educationally subnormal is a better phrase to be fair

This is the interesting thing about the Kpfc fans. I can not see any reason why as sustained period in the lower reaches of league 1 or even a drop to 2 is not highly likely. What is it they are seeing that makes them so confident buddy tippy toppy and rudders will turn it around? I see nothing!

(As much as I dislike the grouping term)

It is probably the past they see, and perhaps it holds positive memories, I mean this is one of the reasons we follow football, right?

I get that we are crap and the downwards trajectory is really frustrating, but some of the doom mongering is over the top.

We are 4 points off the play offs and 12 off relegation, and you're talking about League 2 being highly likely?

If you think Top and Rudkin are to blame for bad signings, surely they also deserve some credit for finding successful ones like James, Fatawu and El Khannouss.

It's like if you don't reduce yourself to a nihilistic perma-critic misery before, during and after a game you're derided as a 'KPFC fan'  :dunno:

People are probably factoring in a six point deduction, which doesn’t look quite as healthy

Honestly though has there been a run of games where we have utterly dominated and deserved to win? Perhaps 1 or 2 at best otherwise we’ve been fortunate, not particularly good.

Erm perhaps because we are highly likely to get a points deduction that puts us in the reaches of relegation, concerns over our short term, let alone long term financial future and who knows whether we complied with PSR for 24/25 and will do so for 25/26. Thats without even mentioning the worst decline of a successful PL clubs in the modern era. The doom mongering is not without justification, those that do not view it as that bad are potentially as unhelpful as those that do.

Saw my dad and brother over Christmas and  dad was asking who the “old striker” we’d signed was and my brother said “it’s the guy from West Ham, he basically died last year and has no legs. lol”

Good pints well made but he'd still be our best option upfront if he signed

You would have said it was doom mongering if in 2021 people said we’d be in the Championship (after 2 relegations in 3 seasons).

We drop about 4 positions a season on average under Top.
