I don’t really know how bad it has to get for him to sell up. I can see a situation where he just hangs on and on and on.

I don't think his ego will allow him to sell up until we're back to being the best club not owned by an oil money state. That's never going to happen so administration is on the cards.

Relegation

Gates of 20k.

Supporters who just go to sit in silence( already there)

Players who dont care( already there)

Low quality football ( already there)

And no free mince pies at xmas ( already there)

Relegation this season is a very real prospect and that would surely mean administration.

Hard to say where we would end up if we don't get enough points to be clear of relegation even with a deduction. And that is just this season.

What infuriates me about a question like this is that there are people who carry on clapping because Leicester won the title 10 years ago.. they generally can’t see the downward spiral the clubs in.

Got to play the video pre match and clap like zombies.

Genuinely don't think there's a limit how far we can fall under King Power.

Agree. As we unload the last few overpaid players, to be replaced by whoever feels like the challenge of LCFC on lower wages, we could see a more ununified less skillful team on the pitch.

You’ve got to generally wonder if it got to the standard of reading or Sheffield Wednesday and administration was a concern or worse still they entered it and a tennis ball protest was to happen, whether they would have a go at people who threw them for disrupting the game lol

I think it will get a lot worse, especially if Macquarie bank decide to call in their loans.......many players were bought with loans ...with the idea that future earnings by the club would enable repayments....problem is we're not making those future earnings, nothing like.....think we can all see there is no organisational governance in the club, no organisational memory and no leadership.  Poor performance off the pitch is allowed to continue unchallenged, people in positions of influence with no qualifications for the job.

In summary it is going to get worse, but it might need to,  as administration might be the only way to get rid of KP.

A lot worse. Overspending on average players reduces the value of your assets. We may have to sell the academy players instead. The narrow vision of the running of the club restricts us in many areas.

The apathy has set in and that is often the hardest to shift or turn around.

I mean its already pretty bad. Relegated twice from the Premier league in 3 seasons and now drifting without a rudder in the Championship. We have a board who dont care, an owner who doesnt want to spend a penny, a group of mediocre lower Championship players on hugely inflated wages and a points deduction looming.  Not forgetting the most average (at best) manager we have endured in years.

We are no longer a feared or respected team, we are simply an easy 3 points. Truth is, we have fallen so far from grace so quickly and I see no way of turning this around until the club is sold. A total rebuild is necessary because the deadwood has taken over and its toxic.

I genuinely think Top rather see us crash and burn rather than let go of his dad's football dream. Doesn't seem to grasp that his dad would actually be disgusted what he has turned us in to.

We are in freefall.

I am positive of League 1 and eventual administration and have been saying this for some time.

I don’t know if on the pitch, we dip down to League 2. My guy say not. And I don’t think we go out of business, I.e phoenix club and starting in the regional leagues etc.

But administration and League 1 are a certainty at this point, at which stage administrators would force him to sell.

How does it all look without a stadium ?

It's not a traditional loan. It's invoice finance.

When the PL.pay 'us' next season's parachute money, they instead pay Macquirie direct..That's the deal. Same as KDH's next instalment from Chelsea. We've already been advanced it from Macquirie..So Chelsea pay it to Macquarie instead.

Thats why the staff delayed wages and why we can't sack.Marti evidence that we haven't got any money left. At all. And we can't go to Macquarie and ask for an advance on 2027 money, as there isn't anything to advance..

Which means, the only logical remaining option is a fire sale this summer to raise (I'd guess) around 45m to keep us afloat and we'll quickly go to Macquarie with each transfer deal and get an injection of cash.

If we fail to raise that money through transfers, then we are no longer able to function. The business is insolvent.

Insolvency by lack of cashflow. Unless we raise 50m or so in transfer fees this summer, we're cooked.

We are no longer a going concern

Worrying if true, Is that a guess or do you have some intel that supports this view.

Although i think between Abdul, Nelson and Monga we would probably manage to raise that £50m if needed.

It's guesswork based on the evidence.

Each big deal - or secured PL status - we've closed since Maguire and Mahrez  we've raced to Macquirie for an advanced payment.  Like a junkie to a dealer, who's just flogged a stolen Aldi toaster for a tenner.

It just evidences to me that we have had problems with cold hard cash to pay bills for a long time. It pre dates Top.

This is the lowest the club has been when factoring in the horrific running costs of the business.

The level of return for money spent must be comparable to worst run clubs in history.

The football has been worse, but these players, directors and staff are probably worth about 10% of their wages value in actual performance and attainment.

Administration is ineveitable and literally the direction of travel without a dramatic course correction that can only be acheived by re-installing people into the club that understand football, Leicester City and what is necessary to put us back onto an upward trajectory.

There appears to not be a single person left at the club (perhaps bar maybe Steve Beaglehole) who knows what the likes of Steve Walsh, Nigel Pearson, Craig Shakespeare, Martin O'Neill, etc, have known before.

I think this is the grim reality many are choosing to either just ignore or not accept. The £45m probably comes from selling Fatawu and Monga. Doubt we'll even be able to get the James deal done and we'll be scrapping around for loans and freebies next summer. Disgusting club in every way, shape and form.

The vast majority of posters here gleefully cheered the departures of Mike Stowell and Adam Sandler - real, decent LCFC people who understood the culture and had served us so well..

The fanbase don't do itself any favours.

I believe Monga is still on a scholarship deal with the expectation that he will sign a professional contract in the summer of 2026. If that’s correct I wouldn’t at all be surprised if clubs that fancy him are looking to get him for compensation as opposed to a fee.

In terms of him agreeing a pre contract with LCFC that of course is a possibility but then the question arises if a 16 year old can be tied to such agreements
