Has this really been pushed enough?  I’m not even sure some fans are aware of it.  Let’s not forget in the real world not many do social media.  Would it have been better to plan further down the line and leaflet drop all around the stadium before a game so everyone was aware?

Would agree with that. I’m only on Instagram these days so I only know about it because I saw it on here. I can’t even remember how protests were organised in the ‘olden days’ other than word of mouth 🤷🏻‍♀️

I get what you're saying, but we are never going to get a full empty stadium, even if everyone was made aware. If we get below 20k, which is a possibility then that's a success.

The problem is we still have a majority of the stadium that love Top and would never partake in any form of protest and I reckon some st holders have put their ticket on for resale which totally defeats the objective

Yeah it would. But it requires money, time and effort. This people trying their hardest to get some momentum building. Mistakes will be made and until people begin to believe they will have safety in numbers, it's going to be difficult.

At our last two games now, people in their 50s have attacked fellow supporters for an opinion. The story from last night's game sounds horrific

I’m surprised no one has done a poll to see the extent of fans not going Monday, for me living nearer to West Brom than Leicester and having in-laws who are baggies fans I’ll get some stick if we get pasted but I set that all the time lately from the Vile fans I work with, the only ones who feel the same way as us are mates who are Wolves fans !

I am on the fence for this as I’ve lost a lot of ST being wasted following an op, heart saying go support the lads they need the fans and the head says we need to do something to put our feelings across to KPFC got a few days to think about it I’ll make my mind up Monday !

Put it this way, how would you feel if you go and support them and they lose 3-4 nil.. walking out would you be glad you went or naffed off..

And as your logo says, proud to work for the nhs. If you do or have previously, would you support a strike? Sort of the same thing isn’t it?

I think I cant go till this manager does, the players are not the best but they shouldnt be getting beat by 3 on a regular basis. The football is honestly the most uninspiring, disjointed crap I have ever seen down here, theres not one redeeming feature at all. There was a time you would get a buzz on a saturday, wake up, get ready, get down the ground, now its like washing up or cleaning the bog

JJ on loan he’s about the only one other than the kids that have shown some passion !?

JJ is good but if his agents have any sense he wont be here very long, hes a top player with the right attitude we need more like him

You’re 100% right and I hadn’t thought about the safety of people if we were to leaflet drop at a game.  I was right next to last nights trouble in the corner and it was shocking behaviour, just because people were chanting songs against the board and club.

This will be just like the Lookman loan where we could have got him on the cheap and look how that turned out ?

I would rather clean Glue Poo 💩 off the toilet than watch another insipid "Spanish Steve Cooper" performance from overpaid misfits so I wholeheartedly agree with your post 🥴

Ill be joining the boycott but I will say I think there needs to be a clearer message, maybe the organisers or someone with a decent social media following could post an 'open letter' or something saying a) The boycott is not directly because of the players performances or manager and b) outlining some of the reasons for the boycott  to aiyawatt. While i cant imagine it will have much impact on the club, it would mean if the media talk about it, theyll be able to reel off some of the genuine problems with this ownership.

Maybe one for the future if there is more buy in (although I'd imagine some KPFC lot might remove them) but for people to attend the game and leave after taping a yellow card/sheet of paper on the top of their seat (the reset colour from before). I personally think that would look good on the cameras and the protests could continue outside.

Good idea

You would do better with a mass walkout after X mins than a boycott.

The cameras would be on you longer than a quick pan of empty seats.

Time to do both arrive after 18 mins walk out at 84. Best of both worlds and will mis the fact we are 2 down before we get in. So will feel like a 0-0 as we will also miss the late consolation

Cant see this getting any real press or traction sadly.  It would have been abysmally atttended anyway

Exactly.  It seems like a bizarre choice of game to boycott.  Statistically it’s likely to be the lowest attended match of the whole season anyway, even if we were top of the league, so a low turn out will be barely noticed by the media.

A more effective boycott would have been, for example, no one buying tickets for Cov away.  Boycotting West Brom at home, on a Monday night, when it’s really cold, and everyone has gone back to work/school after Christmas, is a bit like someone who’s teetotal doing dry January and expecting kudos for it!

It's already been picked up by segments of the media. People in essence are already boycotting because things are so bad - we've seen the lowest home attendances in years.

Away games are a non-starter as maximum of 3k can go anyway, the Derby game was too soon, Oxford too far.

I see what you mean, but I still think it’s a match where a boycott will have far less impact than other matches would have.  Why would Oxford be too far ahead?   What difference will a few weeks make?  Or is the hope that it’ll have some impact on January transfers?

momentum essentially. It's easier to get people to buy into a boycott when there's just a week or so from announcing it to it happening. Maintaining momentum for people to boycott over 4 weeks before the boycott happens is difficult and ends up with a less participated boycott.

A spawny win against Derby took the heat off a little. If we won a couple in the intervening period the sting is already taken out of it. Boycotting should transcend results but that's not the reality we're in - yet

Also less likely for resale tickets to be sold, so those that are listing their tickets won't be going and neither will anyone in their spot.

You really think people would boycott Cov away?

The sad reality is the protests/boycotts have got to start small, if you're suddenly expecting 3k away fans (who 50% of them go every week) to start staying home and not attending games, you're going to be disappointed. We've seen the reality of raising your voice and speaking out against KP, the board or the manager in the last couple of games.

Have a few thousand not attend this game and it's be a huge success, regardless of what people say.

What would a successful attendance look like from a boycott perspective? For me anything south of 24/25k would still be impactful and I think that there's a good chance it'll be much lower than that.

Talking about real attendance here obviously not the propaganda number.

I would hope that we could be looking at a real attendance of 21/22k.

But like you say the propaganda falsely publicised number will be higher. Likely to be around 29k.

I'll boycott, happy to do so. Just like I have since the Ipswich game. Because I'm having a far better time watching the Ashes in Australia than watch this pathetic mess stumble to another defeat.
