It was a disgusting performance where getting A POINT was unjust.

And we've somehow managed to nick all 3.

This isn't just daylight robbery, this is stealing somebodys things and then leaving a huge steaming pile of shit under their bedsheets.

I'm not at all convinced he would have been sacked had we lost.

Convinced he wouldn’t have been sacked. They’ll be sat firmly on their hands, “busy” looking for a new chief executive, technical director, scapegoat.

If we found ourselves in the relegation zone, they might notice and take action. I’m not convinced they’ll do anything before then.

Commentary from tonight soon after the first goal something like: If they can produce football like that, how are they where they are in the league?

Stats shown:

Distance run over season: 24th

Sprints over season: 22nd

Afield duels won: 24%

WTF??

Entitled? Lazy? Lack of fight? Lack of wanting to play for Marti?

There is enough debate about our place in the footballing hierarchy and where we currently sit, and that its not unheard of to be where we ate. But even at our lowest points, there was effort and fight.

Bottom of the league in distance run? That may be the most disappointed I've ever been in our club.

Absolute garbage. I didn’t even cheer when that went in. We look uncoached, uninterested and unprepared for every single game.

The stats for distance covered, sprints, unforced errors and aerial duels won were so telling about this season.

The mad thing is, we do have the quality. You only have to look at the goals to see that.

Pleased for Jakub.

New left back is as important as a no.9.

I don’t know why it does, but it jus utterly flabbergasts me the reaction one moment of quality changes the whole picture for some fans….. it’s as if the instantly forget the 90 minutes of abhorrent football before it…. Then it’s all the KPFC lot come out with their tin foil hats on spouting their “we are where we are bollocks”…..

No one ever wants us to lose, but can you not enjoy a win? Yes you can, especially at this level, especially when the match was yet again as ****ing bad as that……

Its just an advert for how ****ing disgusting this league really is, what West Brom

couldn’t put away some guilt edge chances.

Anyway, it all remains the same, Top, **** off you cųnt.

Went 1-0 up and did literally nothing until the 95th. Says it all when you’ve won 2-1 (with actually, two decent goals) and the keeper is MOTM.

Two very poor sides. Even in stoppage time you just knew one of the teams was going to throw it away and we're fortunate that it wasn't us. Undeserving.

I bumped into the wba manager after the match he said he was on his way to police to report us for daylight robbery

Daylight? Wouldn't it just be a robbery?

What's been so infuriating about the decline under Aiyawatt is our tendency, which has gone on for years, to be able to paper over the cracks. Happened for so long of the 2021/22 season when Rodgers was performing terribly, but seemed to keep spawning enough wins to create this illusion that we were doing 'OK' before the inevitable crash the following season. In that season itself, Rodgers often seemed to get a result to create the illusion we would survive before it did enough to nail us to relegation.

It was happening under Cooper - terrible in virtually every game. Under Cifuentes, it might just be even worse.

On a single game basis that game tonight might be the most extraordinary example yet. I cannot remember a team ever playing so badly and winning as much as that game. It was an absolute disgrace of a performance.

Individual quality of James and Fatawu is the reason we're not in the bottom three. It really is as simple as that.

When that's gone next year. Oh boy.

Wouldn't be a problem if this club had the ability to look past results and look at performances instead.

The term daylight robbery dates back as far as the 1800s when Robson Bigglesworth and his friends stole three shillings worth of coal in broad daylight at Coventry Station.

I made all that up.

Correct. Which is why further decline is inevitable.

If we're losing those two and still cheaping out on recruitment (which is basically guaranteed) then we'll be relegated next year.

You take smash and grabs if you are up against clearly superior opposition. Despite how much I loathe this squad, that is clearly not the case here. West Brom have now lost 10 successive away games.

Neing 24th in the league for distance covered tells you what you need to know about this squad under this manager.
