Surprised Chilwell hasn't been mentioned. The way he celebrated his disallowed goal in the cup final was feckin disgusting!

He is absolutely my number 2 (Knockaert as Number 1).

The fact he was "Born and Bred in Leicester" then forced a move and then did the FA Cup final theatrics.

Then the intellectually challenged Rio Ferdinand telling viewers he can't understand us booing him because "he was part of our Premier League winning team"

Tell me pundits have zero knowledge of anything outside the "big 6" without telling me.

Chilwell had about as much input towards the title as Matty James did, and the latter was on crutches for the whole season. lol

Hugely insulting to Matty James to be fair, we wouldn't have been in the Prem to win it without Matty James

No bot, just genuinely hated Knockaert, he was a great "1 minute a game" player but the other 89 he was just frustrating to watch.

Everyone just remembers the goals but not how annoying he was the rest of the match.

It was brilliant.  The instant that VAR crushed his little soul was a thing of beauty.  Couldn't have scripted it better.

Thanks Ben.  Your best moment for Leicester.

I get we're playing somewhat fast and loose with the definition of "hate" here, and if you're putting together an XI maybe you're having to crowbar a couple in, but a lot of these I'm finding a bit strange. Most just weren't very good players or signings that didn't work out for whatever reason and I don't know how anyone can muster any strong feelings whatsoever about complete nonentities like Luis Hernandez, Stephen Clemence or Kelvin Etuhu.

Dennis Wise was before my time which otherwise may well have changed things but I'm not sure I've ever hated any of our current or former players. Obviously there's been loads I've thought were crap, wanted rid of and/or was glad to be rid of. Coady was tiresome because of the media platitudes, the mythologising about his amazing leadership and the fact he was so shit, Soumare has been gash for a good 99% of his time here, Ward was Ward - hate? I can't get myself that wound up about it, which I accept might make me the strange one.

I meant in the season itself - but you're absolutely correct that he had a big part to play in getting us to that point.

I think you're over-thinking this.  Just a bit of pantomime

if you don't hate Danny Ward with a passion i'd question whether you should be allowed on this forum ever again. someone post the jpeg of him lying on the floor looking at the sky whilst 2 wolves players run amok celebrating. Wolves were shit prior to that game and relegation fodder for sure. We kept them up with that Danny Ward performance alone.

see also Brighton away but with less emphasis on the fact they're shit and focus on how we should have been competing in that fixture if not for a completely inept league 1 goalkeeper playing in the premier. shit tache too.

nice bloke mind met him down rothley cricket club he had a lot of time for the kids with Ndidi. I wish him no harm

I think this might be a you problem. There are tons of players like that, Knocky was actually likeable and contributed some great moments to a good Leicester team. This thread is surely for utter c***s (Wes Fofana, Dennis Wise, Wayne Brown, Matt Mills, Joe Mattock) and ‘footballers’ with no redeeming qualities (Danny Ward, Wout Faes, Matt Mills, Joe Mattock), I mean obviously you can hate who you want, but if it’s Anthony Knockaert then, wow.

I’d forgotten about Hernandez. Who the **** signed him he was ****ing dreadful. Some on here we’re sticking up for him too. Absolutely clueless.

Spoke volumes that he had his arse handed to him within 5 minutes of his debut away at Hull. I dont think he ever recovered.

Just a bit of fun now we're hopefully witnessing the beginning of the end for a certain fluffy-haired defender at LCFC - I challenge you to put together a starting line-up of players you actively dislike, or disliked at the time they were playing. Could be because of attitude, could be off-field shenanigans, could be because they were just THAT bad, could be a combination of all three. lol I'll start with a team from my 30 years following the Foxes that would personally have me handing back my season ticket...

                            Ward

McGivern    Faes    Wayne Brown   Lamey

       Ben Marshall     Wise     Soumare

               Tete    Akinbiyi   Gray

Admittedly I struggled with the front three - I don't think there's a player I genuinely hate even with our club's current sorry state there, more a case of not living up to expectations or being frustratingly inconsistent (having one good game in ten is known as "Demarai Gray Syndrome" in our family). I gave Akinbiyi the nod over Daka, because while I was young I vividly remember being at Filbert Street and it being the first time I heard us boo one of our own players.

But everything behind that was rich pickings going back thirty years. We've had some right whoppers - I was debating Ricardo (GK) and Matt Mills (CB) for those positions, but Ward actively contributed to the position we're in today, and Brown's politics were more Lazio than Leicester, so they get the nod.

Why Ben Marshall?

Fair enough, I think I hated him as a player although he did some fantastic contributions. But I agree if we're talking about footballers with no redeeming qualities then I wouldn't put in the starting 11.

What’s the rules for this?

Is it a Faes/Soumare kind of hate where the hate is very much while they were here playing?

Or is it more hating them when they were leaving/left more like Chilwell or Wayne Brown?

Was it Zieler that basically never jumped? Seem to remember him getting done a few times because he couldn’t get off the ground

Coady is probably the most rattled I’ve been by a Leicester player

I get what youre saying, and I don't and haven't hated players because they are shit. I hate players that have an attitude, cause problems or think they are bigger than the club. Faes and Winks fall firmly in this category. Dennis Wise was a massive bell end to be fair and was his whole career.

That one's personal. Ben told us to FOAD (with hand gestures) when we were 2-0 down at Barnsley and he decided to stroll over to take a corner with zero urgency.

Pearson froze him out afterwards and his career stalled from there. Bloke was exactly the sort of bad egg who NFP wouldn't tolerate in his squad - thought he was the big man and drifted through games with barely any effort just because he scored a couple of worldies. Similar to Mills, he's popped up on football podcasts since and seems a right whopper.

Wise aside, his was the easiest (and most rational) inclusion for me. Wout's stupid little ear cups against Sheff Weds this year is the only time a player has come close to that level of disrespect with me there to witness it.

Going for the classic 6-2-2

Ward

Pearson

Mills

Fofana

Brown

Faes

Mattock

Mendy

Wise

Kane

Hopper

It’s only really winning the League that’s keeping Danny Simpson out, and being our best ever player and so disgustingly likeable as a footballer that’s stopping Vardy.
