Bit dirty from Charles there, tight corner and Lewis squeezed him slightly, but Charles then purposely squeezed Lewis onto the gravel in return. Hurt his team there over a single position.

Leclerc has held Ferrari back consistently this season.

I often find myself feeling like a disappointed parent despite him being far more talented than I ever will be. Over the years the sheer number of unforced errors have been staggering. Ferarri have put more faith in Leclerc than I believe they would have put in almost anyone.
For years Leclerc has been seen as a "Future wdc". Ferrari haven't had the car so he can only do what he can do, but I can't think of many occasions where he's consistently dragged a car further than it should have been. He runs the risk of becoming one of the "best of the rest" drivers imo.
Over 1 lap he's top 3, over 50+ he's constantly doing what's expected and very little more unless I'm just misremembering.

The Tifosi booing is massively disappointing there. Kimi won, George didn't do anything stupid beyond just aggressive battling. A lot of people don't like him, but he doesn't deserve that reaction imo.

HAM would still comfortably be second and a lot closer to ANT if Ferrari had been sensible from mid June onwards.

Leclerc has been an absolute cockwomble for months now.

Tbh I'd be furious if I was Russell.

As the leader of the race during the VSC he should have been given the option to come in and switch strategy to the same as Kimi. They would have had to double stack them and Kimi wait behind George but that's his prerogative as race leader.

They both would have come out on fresh Medium tyres and then cruised to the front back past Verstappen and be free to race from there.

I imagine the debrief will be frosty.

Well done Kimi - doesn’t surprise me he won in a way but a very good performance.

Least the locals had something to celebrate.

Strong races by McLaren and Verstappen again .

Well done to Yuki  Tsunoda  for getting a point too .

Best race of the season. Was like watching a 125cc motorcycle race for the first half with all the overtaking.

The traditionalists say it's all a bit too artificial but is nice to see a lot of competitive racing with cars able to pass each other.

It's a perfect break from the LCFC circus

Yep coz we went to Monza this weekend so offloaded my ticket for Oxford thank god, amazing experience, walked the track at the end etc. Ted Kravitz was on our row on the plane out, flying too was Omari Hutchinson escorted by his chaperone to AC Milan.  Just wanted a Brit to win but fair play to Kimi

If the traditionalists had their way only 8 cars would be finishing every race... :P

This track was designed in the DRS era and was still completely garbage. What imbecile put this track together?

Presumably Tikle (spelling?) again .

Not one to catch up with highlights wise then !

That's tough on Norris.

Perhaps time to change the rules on pitting under the vsc

races should be decided on who is the fastest driver (the lottery of luck should be removed as much as possible - obvs it can’t be removed totally)
