Back in the day (Pleat etc) it didn't need planning....people are just too apathetic now to do anything.....football is just like going to the cinema for many of OUR fans.

Welcome to the current world.

Just get outside the main entrance and share your views more will join each game

The best protest would be, like the project reset one, to start at the local hero and walk as a group to the ground but this time stay outside the entrance with banners and chants. It would only need a couple of hundred to be noticeable, and with that bystanders who agree with the sentiment but have felt too shy to do anything may feel elboldened.

Agree with this. Base ourselves outside the entrance the directors box/fancy seats use as well and sing ourselves hoarse. "Your not fit to run the club" etc etc.

I wont set foot inside the stadium again until king power have gone (which after 45 years of attending is a sad state of affairs)  but i am happy to stand outside and protest - what time before norwich ko is it starting up ? Is 1pm too soon to show up ?

Afternoon all.

As part of a group that led one of the many protests made against King Power I am posting a poll for planning reasons, how may of you are actually willing to protest, against our current ownership, at some point next month or early in March on a match day?  Norwich is looking the most likely.

The nature will obviously be around the fan bases disapproval on how the club is being run, specifics will be decided later

This will be properly planned and organised for maximum effect, this forum will simply just part of it, and this one will take a bit more commitment than keyboard talk and staying away from games.

To be very clear, anyone who does not wish to take part or who feels the current ownership is adequate to take care of this football club will not be judged.

The Boycott was a start, now it's time to build.

This hopefully will be discussed with Union FS, Project Rese if numbers are favorable.

If we get a solid base here where I view there being a lot of support for change, we can look at ways to reach the wider fan base with a foundation that has been built on, if you do intend to do something about this in person  please do vote accordingly.

I’ve been protesting for almost four years. I refuse to give the club a single penny. No tickets, no merch, no support.

When I said this is what needed to happen back then everyone laughed.

Hardly anyone is laughing now.

This whole thing was completely ****ing predictable. The incompetence in those running the club was slapping everyone in the face like an old man’s ball sack.

People can march, people can shout, but the only thing that will ever have an impact is to remove funding from the club and arses from seats.

I hope that one day most of you can get on board with that - nothing changes until you all do.

Get behind the new manager. Especially King if hes in charge for a few games. Can use all the support he can get

Backing King on the pitch is completely different to backing King Power off it. There's absolutely room to do both, even in the stands on matchday.

You definitely weren’t the only one who thought this.

Any traction on this? I think there is appetite within the fanbase if it is something they can get behind.

all gone quiet, if something is to happen the announcement has to be this weekend coming up so its got 2 weeks to spread the word and gain traction otherwise it will be rushed and poorly organised - the appetite is definitely there

Protest outside the ground before, during, and after the match, happy to travel down but not giving a penny to the club while Top owns it

Unbelievable that nobody's stuck around to do an impromptu one tonight really. I expected I'd see at least a handful on social media but nah, the usual bluster with no action.

Passive, passive, passive. I'm seething, I'd be out there given the chance, luckily for me and Top's underwear I now live 100 miles away so knew better than to waste a 5-hour round trip on this basket case of a club.
I'll be at Norwich though, for my sins. See you there folks. Stuff 'em. :revenge:

as im not going to go, i probably wont go for the rest of the season now

i really hope that people get behind this protest because the club is being run into the ground by an owner who frankly doesnt know what hes doing

I am more than happy to travel down and protest outside the ground and not go in for the match. We just need an agreed meeting point for those who are also in the same mindset. I'd suggest outside the club shop or the directors entrance... Make posters/signs whatever you can and bring them down. Its a 12:30 kick off so there will be TV coverage.
