The problem seems to be that whilst he is ultimately responsible for our football club, the people he has entrusted and formed unbreakable bonds with (whether that be through grieving or even before then) know that he is so far removed from reality, that they are able to spin a web of lies to eradicate themselves of any accountability.

Of course, he's fine with that because that means that all must be well in Aiyawatt-land - the problem being that when he gives interviews like this, much of it is nonsense and makes him look stupid. Which he is.

“I feel the pain of the supporters. I feel their pain and the frustration of the whole club. I used to be a football fan and when my team lost, I felt so bad,” Srivaddhanaprabha says.

Bit chilly.

“We know it is always tough in the Championship with many games, midweek games in the cold. It’s not an excuse that a team like Leicester is in this position. It is not nice and not what we expect at all.

Never played in the prem before 2014

“I told the directors and other people that we used to be a very small club in the Midlands and then we grew bigger and bigger and we forgot what we were before.”

Before he became the owner.

Three appearances and two wins in the League Cup would suggest we weren't a small club in the Midlands. We had been the most successful Midlands club in the 15 years before his arrival.

Final nail that, reading it feels like he’s just been born!

“Yeah everything is ****ed but Rudkins my mate and you lot just need to clap more.”

Sell the club now and **** off.

Doesn’t help matters that his English is extremely broken, it got to certain points where I thought Jon Rudkin should be doing this instead.

Regarding the reconstruction of football operations and getting back to an identity, I could actually see where he was coming from.

But the comments regarding PSR and Rudkin’s role were just bizarre. Just started banging on about signing players, rather than getting a real answer as to why we’ve been dishing out ridiculously underserved contracts.

Come on, Hank.

I'm not a fan of Top by any means at all but it is quite clearly a language flaw here and shouldn't be picked up on at all or sensationalised.

Overall though, the interview is total dog muck and does little to breed any faith that the situation can be turned around. But let's call out the proper issues rather than focusing on picking up individual words.

Before that 4 Fa cup final appearances a league Cup win and final and a 2nd place finish. With 40k crowds and much smaller population.

OK hardly massive but to call us very small is absolutely ridiculous.

I have only listened to snippets, please tell me he didn't really say that last paragraph. Surely not

After listening to the full interview with Owynn, it’s such a mixed bag of communication.

Top’s points on PSR compliance and Jon Rudkin’s role in the day-to-day running of the club was complete and utter nonsensical waffle. Banging on about how we tried our hardest to comply with PSR, but not understanding what went wrong regarding PSR in our relegation season. Clearly didn’t try hard enough then did he, surely someone realised that they were on the brink of the PSR threshold, but they just allowed it to happen, incompetent madness.

Only thing that made sense was the realisation that the structure needs to change, how important a sporting director will be, and the forthcoming vision for the football club. What that vision is remains to be seen. He mentioned Enzo’s clear identity, but identity has been lost over the past three appointments. He did also mention that football has changed, from the peak of Guardiola ball to more teams opting for directness. At least he seems a bit clued up from that point of view.

But if he appoints a sporting director who’s main vision is to carry on being like a poundland Man City, you’re left fearing the worst because 1. Fans are getting bored with that style and 2. You fully expect Russell Martin to be appointed at some point.

To me he just came over as totally out of touch. He lives in his own little bubble and not the real world

The more you read and watch the more it disastrous it becomes for the club.

I'm quite angry that Rudkin knows what a soft touch this guy is, but has let him face the media and take the flack while he stays in the shadows.

Top is far from blameless, but I do get the impression he's being taken advantage of.

Says we got relegated because we thought the squad was too good and it would all be fine then says our squad is too good for the championship and it will all be fine

He saw JM10's tweet and was convinced we would be fine and that Rob Tanner was to blame.

God, that’s so irritating and lazy journalism. The mark of someone who hasn’t got a clue what’s been going on.
