Back to back relegations on the way.

You wouldn't rule out another under Rudkin and Top.

Back to back to back to back, waving at wrexham on the way.

Even if we stay up this season, we are going to lose Fatawu and James for next season. There's no way this lot will adequately replace the lost goals and assists. We'd be amongst the favourites for the drop again thr season after in my view.

100% we will, but it will give us another year to clear the decks wage wise which could (unless we continue being the same with wages) be the point in which we will be able to halt the slide.

If we drop this season, our wage bill means we will breach FFP in League One and are hamstrung by it. I wouldn’t put it past us dropping again in that scenario.

6 points from that would have been a poor return. We got 1.

In that instance though, I just don't trust them to not sign Joe Aribo on a 3 year deal on 40k a week.

Oh yeah it relies on us somehow to become competent, which isn’t likely. Non league it is.

Rudkin and top don’t know how to stop the slide. Doesn’t matter which league we are in.

The rules are totally different in League 1. The problem is there has just been a rules change because of what Birmingham and Wrexham did last season. Birmingham spent 15m on Stansfield alone. Your owners could put as much as they like each season without a problem, but they're only allowed to spend 60% of money put in and brought in by the club in player related expenses. That means now they would have to put 25m in to be able to pay 15m for a player. The rest can go towards the academy, ground improvements or similar.

But that's much better for you if Top still has money to waste because you're only allowed to lose 39m over 3 years in the Championship. You must be close to that after just 1 season.

We need to start with a clean slate. The previous League One campaign was cathartic. And it reunited the fans with the club.

People who laugh at the thought of dropping down a league forget games such as Leeds at home (probably the best atmosphere that I've ever experienced) or Hereford away (dangerous terraces, but very charming).

But it won't be like last time because King Power will be here.

Milan Mandaric managed to get us into League One, too.
