How do you think this appeases fans?

You don’t think the fans won’t love to hear how we’re resigning our world class ex manager or the best goalkeeper we’ve had in a number of years. Neither of which will happen.

Same as the interview a few weeks back about pulling together, it’s to ensure the plebs beneath them get back in an orderly line for another few months and stop questioning the hierarchy.

Remember how we were signing Potter and ended up with Cooper. Remember how we were chasing that Sensi all transfer window, then ended up not being able to afford to sign anyone.

90% of the stuff the club does is kept in house there’s very few leaks, the majority of the leaks are stuff they want in the public domain, for their own reasons.

Leaking news now to try and appease the fans and keep them quiet, classic Top & Rudkin.

My first thought too lol

No.  It serves no purpose in appeasing fans.  It's a rumour that will either come to fruition or not in a day or two.  And given as you say it looks like it almost certainly won't happen, how does this appease anybody or give them false hope for the benefit of those you think are doing it to appease people? If anything it does the exact opposite. If it drums up any kind of hope/goodwill or whatever you think it's supposed to be doing it's not given a timeframe long enough to work and it comes with the issue that it then has the opposite effect almost immediately after it's been done.

I get the idea of spurious rumours before next seasons season tickets are up for sale/renewal, giving false hope to fans with the idea in mind to get them to commit before you ultimately do nothing but by then it's too late, but this situation doesn't work like that.

You believe that if you want.

We’ll hear ‘they tried to get Enzo, what more do you want? No-one wanted to come to us’ after we appoint Russell Martin or give it Kingy until end of the season.

There’s still people who believe we spent all those January transfer windows trying to buy players when the idea was a last minute loan all along.

Anybody inclined to believe it isn't the kind of person that needs appeasing.  It's akin to saying we're trying to sign Messi.

Get him back. Would take anything over Stolarczyk but at least Hermansen is actually a good replacement.

As much as I rated him a goalkeeper has to be the lowest of priorities when it comes to what we need! And for that reason it’s nailed on we sign him…. A signing that truly aligns with the king power/Rudkin strategy… pointless a bit like spunking 25m on a 6th choice cm last season lol

Alex Crook has had a lot to report about on us lately; manager news and transfer news. Has me leaning to their being more to this

Has it?

We are constantly conceding goals and our current number one flaps at everything and doesn't seem to command or communicate. It's a key area if we want to stay up.

This club is tying itself in knots 🙈

They’ll end up in such mess with resigning players and managers that Cifuentes will be back in charge for the Birmingham game.
