Some big lads play like they’re small but hopefully he does use his height to his advantage and can head a ball Come on now... We would never sign a target man with a 50p for a head. Not with our bulletproof scouting... Right? 1

That's the fundamental problem. This lad may be good, but he has absolutely no track record in senior football. This makes him as big a gamble. 2

orangecity23 Posted 2 February Posted 2 February It's a good job we have such a good relationship with the Prem and the EFL, I'm sure it really helps at times like these.

Tell them to start boycotting and they go on a "holier than thou" tirade about supporting the club for 70 years when the pitches were mud. Edited 2 February by BrilliantFox 1

Lookatthebluesky Posted 2 February Posted 2 February If he’s capable of moving at all in 90 mins, we can view it as a potential upgrade on Ayew 🤞

Jakemoore Posted 2 February Posted 2 February Not got a convincing record at all, but sometimes players will just hit the ground running and things work out. Let’s just hope and pray it works out that way for this kid. Reality is, we probably need 7-8 goals from him and he’ll have more than contributed then can go on his merry way. 1
KFS Posted 2 February Posted 2 February (edited) Someone at the club has put a filter of “Jamaican striker with broken legs” on their scouting software and left it on after the Antonio deal collapsed Edited 2 February by KFS 2

Sick and tired of our fans having to tell themselves this stuff. We’ve said it about Ayew, Carranza et al. At what point do we just admit we can’t scout shit under this setup 3
