I remember Amartey bursting the length of the pitch on video to score - I swear it was AI before AI was fashionable. Certainly Big Dan never threatened anything like it in his time with LCFC 😬

No wonder he has been without a club since September 2024, awful player.

Sick and tired of our fans having to tell themselves this stuff. We’ve said it about Ayew, Carranza et al. At what point do we just admit we can’t scout shit under this setup

Listen…..not every single signing we’ve made in the last 3/4 years has failed. Stop writing players off before they’ve kicked a ball. If he’s shit, he’s shit. But lest at least give him a chance.

ffs.

I mean we have maybe 4 or 5 actually good signings out of the last 30-ish players we have brought in over that period

There is a very good reason why a lot of fans are going to be rather apprehensive about any new signing

To be fair to Big Dan - even he’s better than the shite that we are watching currently. Better than Okoli for sure

Do you think that Chelsea are even aware that Dujan Richards plays for Chelsea?

I doubt Richards knew he was on the books at Chelsea until today

If these last three land then I’d be pretty happy.

Borrowing promising young players from moneybags prem clubs so they get game time and match experience in one of the toughest leagues in the world seems like a good strategy for LCFC. This is an opportunity for these kids to impress so they end their loans as first team prospects come 26/27 and we should make them welcome. If they can make a name for themselves at a big name championship club like Leicester then everybody’s smiling.

Yeah don’t have an opinion on anything you’ve seen or know on the infinitesimally small chance they might not revert to form and actually be half decent. Wake up

And half our fanbase tolerates this and finances this by carrying on going to games.

Tell them to start boycotting and they go on a "holier than thou" tirade about supporting the club for 70 years when the pitches were mud.

Stop telling people to boycott the games then.

I find it very confusing that fans get so annoyed at the club for making the supporting experience worse (which they do, I'm not denying that) but then will happily encroach on other peoples business and tell them what to do, like that doesn't make their supporting experience even worse.

The official announcement for Aribo has already been done?

Pretty sure he means Richards rather than Aribo

If we wanted a lump just recall Opoku. Hes played more senior football and scored some goals

No idea if this lad is any good but I’ve watched Newport a fair bit this season and Opoku hasn’t been great. He’s 24 and his contract is up at the end of this season I believe. Suspect he’ll have an ok career in League 2, maybe the National League.

He makes a fair point.

JJ has clearly been good. El Khannouss, Fatawu, Hermansen. Plus some decent fees recently for McAteer, Coady, Justin, Ndidi.

Yes we've made bad transfers as well but just acting like a nihilistic teenager about everything the club does is ****ing boring.

So 4 players out of how many? So decent  fees on 4 players but how many leaving on frees that we spent millions on? What’s ****ing boring is the usual people telling us to wait and see how this one pans out like we don’t know exactly how it’s going to go, he’s not even ****ing match fit

Think with Richards it could be one we look to make permanent if he is successful come the summer, already 20 and they have a stockpile of strikers

To be fair, we have to be ok with 4 signings in a January window, if it’s cover we wanted, that’s what we have…

but are they good enough?we’ll have to wait and see I suppose.

Lox on blue tinted glasses showed some highlights of this kid and he can seriously run with power and pace. He’s in the haaland style of striker. Most importantly he can finish

if we can get him I’ll be happy

Might be a few swapsies later lads, but it's a 7pm finish instead of 11 🤪😝

I really hope this guys knocks Ayew off of his high perch.

Shouldn’t take a lot to knock him over based on previous viewing.

To be fair, if you are going to get on an 18 year olds back before they have kicked a ball for us, it’s that you actively want them to fail, not they you just think they will.

Self fulfilling prophecy and all that.
