StanSP Posted 7 February Posted 7 February Depth on the bench. Leadership at the back hopefully. No Ayew. There are positives about... 4
CPepFox Posted 7 February Posted 7 February Would have liked to have seen Mukasa or Monga in starting 11, but at least the statue is not up top... 1

Was full of hope with Richards coming in that we might not have to see the other 2 strikers again…. Then I hear Kingy referring to him as a wide player who can come on 😔 1

brookfox Posted 7 February Posted 7 February Compare it to the match vs Charlton. I reckon we’re stronger at GK, CB, midfield, striker and sub options. Still shaky down the left but hoping Skipp can support there and Lascelles talking can help. All in really pleased King has at least had the balls to try something.

wardyfox86 Posted 7 February Posted 7 February Glad Ayew is out, but guarantee people will be moaning when nothing is sticking up front and the ball keeps coming back. Would rather play 2 AMs than either striker tbh

moore_94 Posted 7 February Posted 7 February Glad to see Stolarczyk get dropped / given a break - really needed taking out fo the squad for a bit 1

Ah fantastic. So essentially a player to keep Monga company on the bench whilst we endure Mavididi and Fatawu do absolutely fvck all for 90 minutes. Absolutely brilliant that. 2 1

Without checking, it feels like some of the more promising displays have been with him up top. Better than Ayew and BDR sitting on top of each other for 70 mins (though some people might be into that)

So another failing of the club, and in that context, King's shaken it up a lot 1
