It didn't work last season because sky refused to show it. Can you get it to fly alongside tops plane on its way to EMA? 😄

A leaflet drop is a great suggestion, mid game would be amazing......

It was all over the media.

TNT, MOTD, Talksport.....but not the actually company covering the game. They usually show them or at least mention them.....but nothing.

Utterly pointless.

A plane does what? Gives journalists in the UK something to talk about.

They already are talking about how useless Top/King Power are.

A plane totally misses the target audience.

We need to talk to Thailand. We need to embarrass Top.

Re-sharing my post from another thread yesterday. Flip flops/elephants - whatever you want it to be. I'm not arsed. But our actions need to directly target Thai culture and talk to Thai people. We need to give him a reason to want rid of us.

"This (throwing tennis balls onto the pitch) but use flip flops. Just buy some for a quid or two from Primark.

In Thailand footwear/feet are seen as a symbol of low status and distaste. In Thailand, and in the context of protest, it would effectively read as we see Top as being lower than low for us. Incredibly embarrassing. Bonus points if they have a Thai flag sticker/painted on them.

Or, perhaps even better - white elephants.

Amazon Link

In Thailand, the white elephant is a famous idiom. Historically, a King would give a white elephant to a courtier he disliked; the animal was sacred (so it couldn't work) but incredibly expensive to keep, eventually bankrupting the owner. Sound familiar?

It speaks directly to the Thai people to succinctly say that our owner is a fool and he's bankrupting Thai pride, in every sense of the word.

It's ridiculous. It points fun at Top. In Thailand, being laughed at is considered worse than being hated.

One or the other or both? (Flip flops/white elephants)

Either way, the most effective way to get rid of Top is to embarrass him in front of his peers. He doesn't give a toss what the British media or we think.

Time to get clever. Hit him where it hurts (his pride). We can do this without getting vitriolic or xenophobic.

If people are on board with this, does it need its own thread/twitter/campaign to gather momentum?"

Shame their non airport shops have closed. Having a white elephant outside a store could have been achieved. Thai press picks it up. That would work quite well.

With the airport only shops, getting the elephant airside might be a bit tricky🤣

But.... I would save your money to put towards the fan led bail out/ownership in 3 years time🤦‍♂️

Digital billboards near airports/royal buildings then?

I am a digital media buyer. Would need to look at libel laws before doing anything, but if funds are made available I am more than happy to use the tools at my disposal to make it happen. As long as I'm not leaving myself exposed legally!

A load of Tennis Balls with “King Power out” written on them, would have more impact and be cheaper than a plane.

You can’t ignore a load of tennis balls on a pitch, as it disrupts play.

I don’t think it’s enough, loud chanting and blue smoke bombs outside the boardroom for a good hour before and after kickoff would be more impactful.

Amazing this had not already happened, what are people waiting for ?

I'm in! Unfortunately I sit in the upper rows and have a terrible throw so more likely to injure the lad a couple of rows in front of me lol

This would have a bigger impact then chanting outside of the ground.

Would be picked up by thai media as well as international media - it would hit him hard by embarassing him in his own country.

Nobody's stopping you from doing that.

We should stop dismissing other people's ideas and take whatever action we feel necessary to build momentum. Planes, flip flops, whatever. Just get on with it.

donations seemed to have slowed down a bit, do we reckon getting a pasting by Southampton tomorrow will increase donations, and does anyone remember how quickly it took to get money for the last plane

5Live just covered the West Hams plane banner over the Pirelli stadium. West Ham banned banners inside their owm stadium so theyve gone airborne.

Hopefully more people donate. Problem is, for some of us donating £20 is nothing especially in the context of what's a stake (putting more pressure on this awful ownership), whereas as many others are nowhere near that fortunate and simply can't afford it. And worse is that the club's extortion of one of the their passions/loves contributes to it

Because this tactic had such a resounding impact last season..

Didn't it get on national media?
