I think it's relative.  Junior Lewis was probably a bit shitter than soumare but he didn't cost £20m on ridiculous wages, he wasn't signed to improve a champions league chasing team and at least he tried to put a shift in. 

 

Of the two, I know which one was the more damaging signing.

Before I had a think about it I just had him associated with the Prem relegation that lead to League One originally. Forgetting about Peter Taylor, Craig Levein and all the other no marks we had in and around then.

 

I was young, dumb and full of alcohol at the time is my excuse. In hindsight our history of managers is horrific and the O'Neill, Pearson and Ranieri types are wildly outnumbered by dross or no marks. 

 

I've been sufficiently flamed now. 😅👍

True. I was thinking worst XI in terms of ability and performance that would struggle in League One now, but if we're talking value for money then pull names out of a hat from the last few years.

McKinley no where near. Played for free initially and played reasonably ok. 
 

Bagged a screamer in the 1-2 win at highfield road as well

We have done these worst XIs many times and there's little point in dredging up the likes of Norman leet imo.  I think it would be better to come up with an XI that have let us down the most.

Yea, I was struggling with the right wing. I've replaced him with Josh Low and Rab Douglas with Danny Ward now. 👍

How about the current 11 at this moment in time all are despicable money grabbing wasters.  Who by the way have spines of a jellyfish, no fight, no passion,

Yeah, that's why I always bring up Vestergaard. Not actually a good defender, cost us £15m transfer fee and probably ridiculous wages. Even though we've had worse defenders ability wise they have not cost the club as much.

You all need to put McGivern, Low, Lewis and the WOAT Hamill in your teams! Ye gods these were shockers.

 

And I know Platnauer is a nice local lad, but he prob ought to be in there too!

 

Does Casino Jimmy count in the keeper stakes?

Peter Taylor is the only manager who I have actually totally despised and murdered our squad and we took decades to get over it.

 

He made Frank Mc look like Sir Alex.

 

Taylor would get my vote as the worst manager in the 50 years I have been going - even now I get angry thinking of the pillock

Right Back, I think he only played once. He looked good on a YouTube clip going on a run gliding past players like a greyhound but it turned out the producer of the clip was the guy who edited the Benny Hill triple speed chase scenes. Possibly.
