Peterborough (A) 1-5 in 2018.

Great day out and we took a very good end.

I'm pretty much against modern football and love grounds with character, but that away end has been a massive upgrade on the terrace.

Couldn't disagree more

The view from that terrace was poor and particularly bad with as many as we'd take.

I love old stands/stadiums and prefer their character, but that one was just no good imo.

Reading (A) in 2005 often goes under the radar because of the Charlton game that followed, but that was a good win at the time, we took a big following and it had last minute 'limbs' as well.

Yeah that was a great day, we filled out that end of the ground, they were either in the Prem or smashing the granny out of the Championship and that Scowcroft winner right in front of us at the death was sweet!

QPR 0 v 2 Leicester - the Joe Waters game 'what a goal for the youngster!'

Don't you mean ...      "Oh Yeesss!   Oh yeesss for the youngster!"

One of the truly spine-tingling moments in our history.    And, as said before, absolutely superb commentary from Barry Davies.

2021 Final against Chelsea is the obvious one, but for me, its the 2-0 3rd round win against Enfield in January 1995, because that was my first ever Leicester City game, and the moment I fell in love with the live football experience.

One that sticks in my mind is beating palace 1-0 in 1991/92 season.

I think because it was so different to the previous season when we escaped relegation on the last day. And palace had finished 3rd in the top division and had also reached the final in 1990.  Playing any team from the top division was a big deal.

Plus we had gone 7 seasons without winning an FA Cup game.

I was there and remember the goal clearly and Smiths reaction to it.  Another late goal that seemed to happen all the time for us back then.

I  was just about to say I bet the attendance was atrocious but just checked. 17k isn't bad. More than they'll be by end of this season if it carries on 👀

God yes! No bottlers in that team.  What we wouldn't give for a few of these today. 39k in Filbert street - in Kop, but my feet barely touched the ground. Happy days.

5-2 Shrewsbury

Cracking game and team.Alan Young and Gary Lineker up front, Larry May in defence and of course Mark Wallington in goal before he got injured. Atmosphere was incredible

Weren't that a Gareth Williams screamer? Pretty sure the goals he scored for us were all screamers. I know Scowcroft got the winner.

Should be everyone's answer.

Well clearly but Bovril did ask for favourites "apart from the very obvious".

He did score, but I can't think of the goal.

I do remember the one he scored at Bolton, that must've been over 30 yards out.

Might have to get my DVDs out lol He scored a screamer at Hull once. Going off track a bit there but I was just thinking of that Reading game.

Yeah on Boxing Day! It's weird how I can remember moments like that, but forgot so much of what's happened recently lol

lol I'm a bit like that. Sometimes I have to check if I was actually there, yet some random moments I can recall with ease.

My favourite is Leicester 1-0 Chelsea.

Goal by Tielemans.

Chillwell looked rather unhappy.

Leatherhead 2 Leicester 3. Third round. Leatherhead drawn at home but opted to play at Filbert Street. In the days when non-league were proper non-league with no promotion to league two.

Kelly for Leatherhead had said he'd show everyone why he should have made it at a higher level. Fair play to him, he put them two up at half-time. Thankfully we turned it round. Think Weller got at least one. Seem to think they played in green, which was, and still is not a common kit colour.

Memories are a bit patchy. It was a long time ago! I was about 10. Now 62 🙂

Harlow Town away in 1980 and Exeter City away in 1981. Now what could possibly go wrong? 😱

When Harlow scored in the replay, I've never known ten minutes go so quick. Gutted.
