Just seen this posted elsewhere from Piper. Great post from him. Essentially he is saying we need to be together and yes, back the team but that we need to together in the pursuit of change.

Matt Piper on X

The last thing our club needs right now is infighting between the fan base 😔
The clubs in dire straits atm & us guys squabbling against each other won’t help! In situations like this, I’ve always found it best to come together on what we all do agree on-which is the club can’t continue operating in the way it is, if it does I can’t see it being in existence for much longer 😞

We’re divided because there’s a split with the thinking how that will be best achieved. My thoughts haven’t changed in the fact I think new ownership is the best option to guide us in a new direction with fresh ideas, energy, enthusiasm and away from this incredible multilayered mess we find ourselves in.

However, all I want is the club to be stable and an enjoyable place to experience again, (doesn’t have to be titles & trophies, although that’d be nice!) players, managers & coaches that are proud to represent our club 🙌🏾🦊! With leadership that is consistent, strong and has a clear vision for the future, that we can all buy into.

I am incredibly thankful and full of gratitude for what King Power have done for our club over the years, Vichai delivered those qualities I’ve spoken about above and Top doesn’t seem to possess the same high level of leadership needed to deliver similar results.

Which is understandable, Vichai and leaders of that calibre are rarities, hence the reason they can build global businesses or deliver Premier League titles to football clubs like ours. But Top needs to put his Ego to the side and accept he’s not his father (which is totally okay 💙) and surround himself with people who possess the skills he lacks.

If he can do that, which is a huge ‘if’ I for one will be happy for the King Power group to remain and try and turn this dreadful situation around. I’m a very emotional guy (and can often lose my head on the radio), but I didn’t mean any disrespect or ungratefulness towards King Power after the last game at the KP. I love the club from when I was a little kid, it means everything to me, like it does for so many of the LCFC fan base and when it feels it could be slipping-not just down the leagues but out of existence- we have to fight for it and protect it 👊🏾

But please people, not against each other 💙. We should be united as a fanbase and use that power of togetherness to influence the changes that will help our club thrive again! I don’t think we need to be divided about ‘Who?’ can deliver us that, more the ‘How!’ All I know is, we need action from the club and it needs to be quickly because not doing anything will only make things much worse!

So Khun Top, If you’re keeping it, it’s time to show strength in your leadership and either lead now or delegate to others with the wisdom, experience and enthusiasm to move us past this mess, inaction at this point is just NOT an option!

Personally, I’d like to see a small carefully selected fan group of well ‘balanced’ individuals that have the ‘Clubs’ best interest at heart (people who don’t just argue for arguments sake or boo/hiss at opposing views), empathetic, respectful, but also tough characters that will hold the club to account if /when needed, who work with the club at the highest level to bring about change in a positive way. I really like the 50+1 rule the Bundesliga operates with its clubs in Germany!

Anyway, I’m ranting now, which I didn’t want to do 😩 All I know is, I love the club and I don’t want to just sit back and see it slide out of existence. 💙

Great post.

Having someone like him at the march would help.

In a nutshell he is basically saying it doesn’t matter if we go down because of what we’ve won before …

Aye I know I watched it. I was on about you saying he has never been a passionate Leicester fan.

Yet he then went on to give an absolutely pathetic "we were in League one once" and "if you told me we'd win the Premier League and FA Cup before relegation to League 1 i'd have snapped your arm off" monologue. He dismissed the wrongdoings of the ownership as a little more than a sequence of unfortunate events.

When we are facing liquidation lets see if he still wants to snap the hand off.

Starting to feel like the protest folks are the ones who are ringing the alarm bells whilst the others are just getting ready to lemming off the cliff.

KPFC folks are people who would try and get their luggage out before evacuating a plane in an emergency.

He’s never at any point been a passionate Leicester fan.

He just lead the consortium and put his own money in to save the club from administration for fun then did he?

Sorry but if anyone on here, Facebook or in the stadium tells me that I shouldn't be as angry at Top and King Power as I am then they're getting told to **** off.

I'm not going to see my club go out of existence and remember sitting there drinking a flask and clapping like a seal.

😂😂

Every positive action 😂

There hasn’t been a single positive thing about this club for 3 or 4 years.
But we should still be grateful for all the scarves and clappers we’ve received.

The gruesome twosome probably got wind about the protest and decided to pull their fingers out and finally appoint a manager, in a vain attempt to stop it 😂

NOPE!

Opened twitter this morning to see a clip from The Rest is Football podcast.

Started with Gary Lineker saying (paraphrasing) "Now Alan, i've listened to you ranting and raving about Newcastle all season long but it's time I had a say about my club Leicester City..."

I'm thinking here we go, he's going to tell his massive audience about everything going on. This will be big. That podcast has tens of millions of regular listeners.

Wound me up a treat. It's extremely annoying to have someone that clearly doesn't pay attention to what is going on be the voice of Leicester fans on a platform like that.

What will it take for people like this to wake up?

Lineker's football opinions are generally poor. Anyone remarking that failure is a trade-off for success shouldn't be taken seriously.

AI.

It's a pisstake?

I really hope it's a pisstake.

Tragic that it's plausible at first read.

I'm not and never have said there's not issues , however, the toxic atmosphere and fan v fan will not help the crucial issue of falling into League 1 this season will be catastrophic and mean it less likely they'll be able to sell even if inclined too! Survival needs to be the priority and backing the lads will be pivotal in that aim.

Why would you “back the lads” when they have given us f all? They literally have the worst running stats in the league? That translates to complete lack of effort/trying. If that doesn’t tell you that they don’t care then bollocks to you. It’s genuinely mind blowing how many can still try and defend this lot.

Unbelievable

Does calling fellow fans ‘moaning ****ers’ count as fan vs. Fan?

Waste no time arguing what a good Leicester City fan should be. Be one.

You went to Randers, Denmark away in winter but they say you boycotted West Brom because it was cold.

Most fans will not protest and some fans will despise you. That is their problem. The object of life is not to be on the side of the majority, but to escape finding oneself in the ranks of the insane.

Leicester City 1884, our religion. Unite for change.
