There were a few points when we played some pretty little tight passing patterns in a confined area, nowhere near their goal, like those clips we see from Seagrave, but otherwise mostly same old slow no end product. We tried the long ball occasionally, but mostly either the pass wasn’t good enough or our players weren’t switched on to it or brave enough.

Not quiet true a good few of them are hopeless, we have some below average / poor players ... the only decent players we have are not ours .... if they want to stop the slagging off ... then they need to step up and perform .... and be professional and earn their extortionate salary .... and that's reality

I get that losing 9-0 is probably something you'd never get over as a fan but I hadn't realised how much we'd got to their fanbase over the years.

 

Even some sad **** saying last week was karma for Roy Cropper celebrating last season.

Yeah i'm surprised that Southampton hold so much animosity towards us considering other than the 9-0 and the 5-0 nothing much out of the blue has happened between us. Even the 2-3 win from 2-0 down we had there last season could easily be explained by their red card/penalty.

 

But saying that, we've had our fair share of embarrassing results at their hands too.

Ayew again  was terrible but he simply isn't a centre forward, would be much better in a deeper role where he doesn't have to try & get behind their defence.

 

Kristensen was miles better then Thomas but I know that's not hard to do . 

 

No coincidence whose man it was that scored the winner , Agent Thomas to the rescue for the opposition again
