Not a fan of his appointment to say the least and today was disastrous, But he has improved form and only been in the job a few weeks, we’re still only a point away from safety and he’s not going anywhere so best to get behind him and hope he can sort us out. Just win every other game and we will will probably stay up.

Two points off safety

How come it's always someone else fault but Nelson? He was absolute dog shit today, can't deal with a ball over the top, and sticks a cross in his own net when he's surrounded by Leicester players. Stop blaming others, it was his doing today!

Personal opinion. I’ve played cb my whole life, the own goal doesn’t happen if you know the keeper has it but if your keeper isn’t clear you have to deal with it. Simple as.

Obviously could do better with the first one but again the way Jakob was in no man’s land implies to me that he probably calls for it. One shout of deal with it and your cb gets rid.

I guess you're Sunday league though? If Ben deals with both situations better,  there is no problem. Really don't know how the keeper can do anything about the second, the first he could attempt to do more after Ben screws up but at risk of a red card. Sorry, but I can only see one person at fault for both these goals, and it was Ben.

Wanted him to suceed but picking ayew to start every game,i find very hard to get behind him! Bloody would it hurt to try aluko ffs!

There aren't many managers that could get Luke Thomas, Okolii, Ayew, Daka, Nelson to be better football players in a few weeks. We cannot defend, we cannot keep clean sheets, we have a lot of poor players in key areas, the spine is particularly poor. You can get away with a couple of poorer players if your spine is solid, but it's pathetic. I knew we were going down weeks ago, we needed 2 new centre halves, a midfielder and a striker in the January transfer window, but unfortunately we are fielding the same players that have gotten us here in the first place.

Nothing changes if you've got fundamentally bad players.

Is that not worse. I’d expect a shout at Sunday league. If you don’t get one form a professional keeper that’s usually because there’s danger.

Persisting with Ayew will bury us..

I genuinely don't get it. Every time he plays his on goal stats are 0 and thats not just finding the net, shots, shots on target, assists, he'll  have a few passes which are always backwards or sideways, hes an impotent passenger leaving us essentially playing every game with 10.

If he has a yt highlights you would think its when someone tricked their way into a footy club.

6 decades of watching our beloved City and for me arguably the most charlatan useless waste of space I've seen!.

Players have let him down. That is on them. He should have changed it at half time, but it was pathetic.

QPR were poor, and we made them look good. 3-1 down...I know I'll play it back and side to side.

The problem is the squad is just collectively thick.

I was actually a little concerned about the positivity following the draws and the Bristol win. Bristol were terrible, but if the penalty had gone in, we would have crumbled. Nelson admitted as much. We should have won at least 1 of the games vs Ipswich or Middlesborough.

But the team selection for the last 2 games has been appalling. Nothing has changed. Jordan ******g Ayew stinking the front line out, and playing out the back with *******g Okoli. Winks dropped to have James and Skipp tripping on each others toes. It's still Marti ball, with the same players.

I variation of 4-3-3 with players who cant do it, and playing out the back with defenders who both dont have the skill and have their confidence shot to pieces.

Does the manager actually do anything at this football club?

Also nice to see Oxford doing brilliantly without him.

Its not the managers. Its the players. That much is clear after swapping many managers and these fools continuing to be incompetent

The managers are doing exactly the same thing. If nothing changes in teh approach, then nothing will do on the pitch.

How can a manager come in and not see the leadership problems in this squad and not change the captain or vice captain. Not that we are awash with candidates. Changing the culture starts with captains.

How Okoli, Ayew, Stolarczyk, Mavididi, Choudhury are continuing to be given minutes is just beyond me at this point.

Starting Ayew was a shocker. Not refreshing the team at half time was a mistake, we could all see the momentum had shifted and yet he did nothing. And making the hotheaded/rash Choudhury captain makes no sense to me.

Not a great day at the office for Gary.

Was listening to Pipes and OPA on RL on the way home.

Interesting to hear Rowetts' last comments during his post match interview....

"I need to start to looking at players I can trust"

Maybe he's finally seen what we have been watching all season.

HAS to start with Ayew, he needs dropping from the whole squad and binning for good!

I NEVER want to see that useless, lazy POS in a Leicester shirt again!

He can’t change the players BUT he can change the system. Making generic subs on 60 minutes is not the sign of a good manager. We all called it on 55 minutes just before they scored their 3rd. Very poor from players and manger today apart from James yet again

Hopefully the penny has dropped and he will wield the axe on the wasters for the rest of the season . Get some of the youngsters in

QPR got a strangehold on the game at around the 30th minute. You could see it coming. Ayew in no mans land (and the crowd had to yell at him to press!), Fatawu constantly losing the ball, Mukasa really struggling. QPR had complete control of the midfield, so something also had to change there.

To start the same team and go 3 down quickly when the warning signs were there IS on the manager. Rowett got lucky against Bristol, and was piss poor today.

I was Sunday league and occasionally played CB. And, by the way, when I played CB I wasn't very good, and was always aware of the shortfalls - at CB or LB, my natural position - that meant I'd never be a professional, nor anywhere near.

But I see Nelson make some mistakes and can hear the echoes of bollockings I got when I was 16 or 17 for failing to deal with very, very similar situations. It's not only Ben, but I'm amazed to see so many of these errors - which would still be costly for park footballers - taking place. I know this happens from time to time at the bottom end of the FLC, or occasionally even the PL - they're only human, after all - but it's 2-3 times per game for some of these. Non-league level stuff, if you're kind.

It might well be the worst, and it's certainly the most despicable, Leicester side I've ever known. And I remember David Pleat who, to be fair, had one of the lowest wage bills in the second tier. These guys are astounding in their laziness (Ayew etc.), selfishness (Fatawu etc.), unprofessionalism (Nelson, for that first goal, and many others game-in game-out) and lack of guts or backbone.

If I were cherry-picking from relegated FLC clubs, I wouldn't go anywhere near any of these. James aside - but Fatawu very much included - I don't see top tier players in them.

And it's by far the laziest, least invested Leicester side I've ever known. I'm not a very hateful person as a rule, but I genuinely detest this team. I saw the emphasis switch, post-Pearson, from hard-working, honest individuals to people who lacked the same, to coin a Harry Bassett term, moral fibre. I always felt it'd end badly. But never did I envisage it ending this badly, and there being such a historical absence of that so-called moral fibre. Almost to a man, they're spineless gimps.

He's brought nothing new to the club, zero new ideas and content to continue in the same fashion that got us to this position.

Literally cannot wait until we get a manager whos plan A isn't trying defend your way to victory.

Based on Nelson, Jakub and Mukasa’s recent performances, suspect he’ll go more for experience - he’ll be itching to get Begovic and Lascelles in, and suspect Reid starts as well.

The "youngsters" beat Arsenal U21 1-5 last night.

Apparently they were brilliant!

Okoli is one of the worst passers of the ball i have ever seen. Lascelles could have played today and mitigated that. Why not?

Not buying Begovic at all. Was in goal for some of our worst collapses.

I think there's a lot of average managers and staff at football clubs just like in any type of large organisations, they get lucky because they've been in there for decades but they're nothing special or highly skillful in certain jobs. The managers role isn't technically skilled so it attracts anyone whose been in the footballing industry
