In the kindest possible sense, that’s a ludicrous post.  Who did he misspend on? Because coady and winks were already in their way here before Enzo got involved.

and with winks, you can’t say he misspent because he utilized him very well and he was a pivotal part of the side.

It’s so easy to say it was an easy job, yet so many  of those players are still here and are shadows of what they were for Enzo.

Yes he struggled towards the end but when he tried to refresh us in January something all teams do, he got nothing.   We signed young starts like mads and fatawu, how is that not planning for the future?

it’s just a case that people will never be happy. No job is easy in football, you can spend 200m and still look awful. He did an excellent job, whether you liked the football or not. We had a chance to push on that summer and had he stayed, we would have been  completely different team and the position we would be in now would be light years ahead of what we’ve got.

we’ve had many wobbles over the years and typically we bottle it, Enzo didn’t. That should be commended not used against him

To offer a conspiracy theory, if he is destined to be Man City manager next season, perhaps already talking to us about loan prospects for next season as he knows we have excellent facilities and can theoretically offer a decent level.

After watching the game they'll of course conclude we're probably not going to be playing at a level to be taking anyone above their under 8's side.

Might have been in town to see his mate Balague so decided to catch some football and try one of the sausage and cheese rolls they have near the owner’s box.

Bizarre. It makes no sense for him and his entire back room team to be there today. No matter what way you look at it, it’s just ****ing strange.

That was my thought too… Enzo on his own is bizarre. But with his two assistants too?

Can only be there to keep tabs on Mukasa surely. Even if he's a complete nut job and somehow thinks he can turn this around next season, we don't have a pot to p*ss in, so unless he and his team are willing to work for nothing, he couldn't come back even if both he and we wanted it to happen.

Agree it does however seem very odd, as you'd imagine if he's there to observe Mukasa then at most you'd expect Caballero to join him. I have no explanation as to why Walker would be there, other than he's had a barney with the missus and needed to spend some time away from the house.

I’m not buying he’s there to watch Mukasa, if he is becoming Man City’s manager in the summer, Mukasa is hardly gonna walk into a side that’s gonna have Semenyo, Doku, Foden, Cherki, Marmoush and Savinho there to play with Haaland.

I can’t figure out who actually looks good from them all being there today?

I agree….

I also don’t buy into some comments of, just wanting to spend the day in Leicester, as guest of Top. It’s bonkers to suggest out of all the ways he could spend a Saturday, he’d choose to be here.

I think as bizarre as it sounds…

Enzo was offered and nearly took the role, which would back up Gary Rowett comments of “they are being ambitious”.. But he has decided to take the role if we stay up. So Top has gone back to Rowett and offered short term, to keep us in the league.

that’s the only “logical” but still bonkers suggestion I could come up with.

Lee Carsley was there again a few rows behind Enzo.

Watching Mukasa and maybe Nelson?

Norwich have one or two as well don’t they?

They contacted him about the managerial role, he wasn’t interested but they ended up inviting him to a match.

I can see how it went now….

”Enzo, do you want to come back to Leicester?”

”id love to! I’ll be back for the next home game”

3 weeks later

“hi it’s Enzo, my tickets haven’t arrived yet”

”When we said do you want to come back, we meant as manager….ohhhh ****kkkkkkkk, someone call Gary back!”

It’s F***ing terrible.

Surprising even for Spudkin and Bottoms standards.

Well we go as far as the very beginning when Mandaric had King Power and Sousa in attendance to a play off semi final.

The stadium has also been used in the past as a meeting point for Thai politics around a matchday with a game against Liverpool a couple of years ago

I mean. Are we not over analysing this a little. Him and his team are out of work and bored so they went to watch his old team for something to do.

He's probably just bored. And now he knows boredom at home is more entertaining than watching us play.

Mate… he decided to take his two assistants along to watch a bottom half championship game between Leicester and Norwich in February for a laugh? That’s equally as naive as thinking he’s going to get a job as Leicester manager. He was there for a reason a whatever that might be.
