If this ‘shake up’ isn’t worth chucking a tenner into the plane, I don’t know what it is

Rudkin gets a promotion.

Our head of finance gets one too…to ****ing CEO?!!!

Top literally couldn’t have made any worse decisions here. He’s kept the same inept group of idiots around, but given them all a promotion, a salary increase, whilst bringing in someone else to spaff more money on.

We need to get King Power out of our club.

Wow.

Plunging to new depths with this announcement. Not only are the (non) appointments lukewarm, pointless and, to be honest, embarrassing, the language and quotes in the press release make it clear that no one has learnt anything. We will keep doing the same thing until the club is ran into a wall.

If you had any chance that Aiyawatt had any intelligence, I think that’s just gone.

The sacking of Rudkin would have galvanised his position amongst KPFC. Instead the penny has now dropped for some.

What's the difference between a Chief Football Officer and a Chief Sporting Director?

Probably about £50000 per year in wages.

I can't see Rudkin easily stepping aside and letting McCarron start changing everything that he has "built"

Doesn't really matter what control McCarron will have because he still has to report to Rudkin

Rudkin has only built a mess he has not achieved anything

Bit worrying we've promoted from within for CEO. You can imagine them interviewing qualified people. Top getting all excited until it gets to the point in the interview where he goes: And do you have any questions for us?

They're probably going ask relevant questions, then run a mile when they get the answers. Nobody with any actual experience or proper qualifications is coming here to carry the can for the idiot son.

How can you be finance director/controller at the club for several years and oversee the past 4/5yrs of financial mismanagement, but then 'stepped in' when we faced difficulty about PSR?

Where the fvck was he beforehand, and what the fvck was he doing?!

Working under Susan Whelan, she was our last CFO

For me being extremely sceptical and maybe putting 2+2 together and getting 5, that’s the same conclusion I’ve come to.

Who looks at our finances and thinks they want to oversee what is coming.

Whelan left when ? They hired the guy who couldn’t file the confirmation statement on time as CEO.

if you support Top. Make excuses for him. Say he loves his dad so needs to stay or any other bullshit. You’re a ****ing donut and there is no other explanation

"Leading the Club’s football operation, Jon Rudkin has been appointed to the role of Chief Football Officer, providing executive leadership of all football matters, ensuring long-term sporting alignment, strategic squad development and the high-performance environment required to deliver sustained competitive success."

Is that not the opposite of what he's been doing over the past 5 years?

Only we could seek to streamline a structure and add clarity ……. by creating overlap, uncertainty and both recognising and rewarding incompetence. Truly remarkable.

This is the football equivalent of promoting Kwasi Kwarteng to Prime Minister.

I'm going David Lammy!

Again, the optics are terrible. At this point, with league 1 football a very real possibility, spending £100's K on fat salaries and adding layers of administrative fat when we will need to be cutting severe costs in June makes no sense. Please sell the club you useless cretins.

Exactly......i just don't get it.These are high wage roles, but we are struggling to get the money or knowledge to buy a stricker............Cart before Horse comes to mind.

The good news is, we're on page 9 and no one has mentioned "Del Boy went on a gap year to south east asia" has been hired as our Commercial Director.....
