Is this game so far not the same pattern as before Rowett more or less?

Ropey at the back, passive across too much of the pitch, not really threatened aside from a worldie

It’s a LCFC25/26 template game that’s for sure

First 25mins we played fast attacking football and I thought we would hit them for 3/4. Then we started to mis place passes, were sloppy on the ball, kept slowing down the game and let them back into it. Really need to start doing the basics right

Idk what you mean. This is a sport where contact happens all the time. You're one of the reasons the sport is becoming unwatchable when you complain about incidents like this.

Haha.

think the issue here is that no matter what happens you just want to be unhappy with Ayew. ‘ why did he go down, it never touched him’ then when you establish it did ‘ why  did he go down so lightly’ lol

no one rates him, certainly not me, but elbows to the back of the head DO hurt, and if tha was Vardy who had been clipped, you’d probably be the one leading the lynch mob.

Ayew letting the defender take as long as he likes to pick his pass

Opposition defenders must love it when they see he is starting

No going to be pressed at all, barely challenges for headers, when he does have the ball he just flops and the refs don’t buy it anymore, and he is usually 20-30 yards behind the play anyway

Proper strikers heat map :teehee:

Glad there's empirical data to prove this twat spends more time by the corner flag than in the box where he's supposed to be.

Hate him.

I don't even care about an unhealthy 200kg fraud. If he falls like that because someone slightly budged him he's a complete joke.

He's just never ready to receive the ball. He anticipates nothing. An experienced player whose experience counts for nothing.

In general, we got too negative on the ball after we scored. Too many players - Fatawu, Mukasa, Ayew, even Choudhury on one occasion, found themselves right side of a defending player and failed to attack the game.

The commentators on Foxeshub sound stunned, as if we were always in total control. I don't know about you, but I thought the attacking four were, for all their dangerous moments, not actually creating much, and QPR were having sniffs. You know how that ends with this team.

Yeah and he's only picked for "experience" cause Rowatt got a hard-on for all that nonsense. No page, Aluko etc near the squad anymore....for Ayew, brilliant that:appl:

Big Steve Howard in the studio. Could do with him now

I was mocked for wanting someone like Keiffer Moore here, still think he’d make us a far better side. The game has gone back towards big, physical strikers again.
