My Mrs said she will pay for me to renew.

Shes literally gutted!!!

I've told her not to worry I'll try not to spend the extra time with her!!!😁

Take the money, tell her you’re  going to the game and have a nice afternoon in the pub or at the cinema

Oh yeah, and tell her you’ve upgraded to a box just to keep her happy

You definitely don’t need to be married to prefer watching a shite football match over a trip to fosse park, b&q, the tip, kids’ parties at bounce, the big shop etc etc.

There’ll be regret out there next season despite people saying otherwise at the moment.

Yeah, but no reward sex for watching Leicester get stuffed :)

I was kinda eluding to the out of contract ones , and it serves them right .

You are quite right though regarding  the in contract  ones , we will unfortunately be stuck with them because  of their wages

Remember all, today is the last day to cancel. I think it’s 5pm as a cut off and they have very specific guidelines.

If you do still wish to cancel, just email [email protected] with the following details for each supporter:

Subject: 26/27 Season Ticket Cancellation
Full Name
Full Address
Date of Birth
Supporter Number

If any supporter is aged 18 or over, the request will need to come from their own email account, including the same details.

The email I had back from them suggested the deadline was 29th April at 5pm, but I have seen both dates floating around. Will be cancelling today to make sure anyway.

I can't see that you have to cancel if you're not on the DD scheme. You just don't buy another one.

That is correct. But a lot will be coerced into keeping their ticket due to the way the DD scheme operates.

You are now indeed, 'A free man'

Be seeing you.

I got some unsolicited mail from the club this morning, reminding me to renew the season ticket I’d cancelled a couple of months ago. Will take great pleasure in letting my cats use it as a litter tray and posting it back to them. YES I am that petty.

Still deciding if I’m renewing, however after speaking to my cousin this morning it’s unlikely.

He missed some DD’s after having a tough year financially, struggled with his mental health after losing his business.

( He always made sure he paid the balance as not to miss a match)

The club sent a letter saying due to the missed payments it’s club policy to withdraw the DD option.

He emailed the club 26th March explaining the situation and that he may not be able to afford it paying up front, Is it something they could look at?

To this day he hasn’t had a response from the club.

He takes his 12 year old lad (5 year season ticket holder) and has had his ticket 12 seasons.

He is fuming that nobody has had the decency to reply. (The letter actually states contact us to see what your options are)

He rang on Thursday to be told that they are sorry nobody has replied and that it will be escalated to senior management.

Still nothing.

He is ok in himself now and working and back on his feet, imagine if it was somebody struggling a lot more.

Another example of how badly run the club is.

Yes, if you miss 3 payments over a season they revoke the DD option for the following one. Your cousin should email again and tell them to shove it, they don’t deserve his support and they don’t deserve anyone’s support. Glad your cousin is ok now, they really don’t do themselves any favours do they 😖

It’s his son that he’s bothered about otherwise he would shove it.

For his mental health get him away from this toxic shithole of a football club and suggest the three of you do something every Saturday to replace the time.
