Most fans that give them up will still have membership to keep the points so they intend to get another in one or two seasons anyway. All this I’m walking away is rubbish they’ve just put supporting them on hold.

Not for me, I gave it up my ST last year after 27 years of doing 100s of games and I have not missed it one bit.  Before that I'd go when I could as I had a Saturday job as a kid so would just do mid week games in the old East Stand at FS.

So I've really disliked supporting millionaires these past few seasons that are jogging around on the pitch with no connection to any of us as fans anymore.

I have lived 50-55 minutes away for the past few years so I decided to go to a local club down here instead.

Started going to Brackley Town in 2020 and far prefer watching players that are more like us that have a job and actually put a shift in.

Even if Leicester win the champions league I'm not coming back, top flight football has been ruined and it won't return now to what we were treated with in the 90s etc.  Players that lived nearby would say hello and they'd speak with you.  It is such a big disconnect now and they do not deserve our support in any way.

Perhaps I'll go to the odd big club game as a treat but it's unlikely that I'd do anything more than that and I have to admit I really have no plans to return.

I cant decide whether to renew. On the one hand £500 seems a fair bit to me at present, on the other, it gets me out the house and get to meet up with dad

Meet him at the pub and stay there for a while!!!!

They’ll be a few fans like you don’t get me wrong but most will be back down again next season through ST or Memberships.

this is what i struggle with, I see a lot of "we use it to meet up with mates/family" there are 101 better things do do on a Saturday to meet up rater than go to KPFC at the moment - i find it a lazy argument

We do a breakfast club every few weeks, meet up have a chat and a catch up and don't feel miserable afterwards!

And to add, people just have different priorities.

Not living locally means it is a massive chunk of the day, affecting work if in the week or taking a huge chunk of the weekend. If I was still doing it now, I’d feel I was massively missing out on valuable time with my family and my daughter as she is 3 now but won’t be forever and I’d massively regret that if I still went to matches. As well as the time, money is much better spent on things to do as a family and making those memories than lining millionaires pockets.

So as to have said, I can confidently say I will not go back to attending regularly ever. Maybe as you say, every now and then if the club become on that resembled the club I fell in love with.

for those that have cancelled - including me

How many more payments are due for "this" season ?

I'm assuming at least one more in May? My direct debit usually goes around 1st of the month I think?

You can still do that but maybe enjoy it rather than force it.

Nope

Not giving these clowns membership money.

Struggling to get a ST at Leicester in the future will not be a thing.

You won't need either of those things to go next season

Ive been on the fence with this for a while but begrudgingly finally decided to renew but seems I can’t renew my ST through the app anyway - just a blank page after submitting all the details. Anyone else struggling with this?

Tried phoning the club but told they are too busy to put me in the queue.

After going through the mental hurdles to finally decide to go for it, it seems they don’t want my money anyway. Not sure I have the desire to follow this through now :(

Its a sign mate.

Do what some of us have and make the plunge not to renew.

Tough decision we know but when you read some of the posters we have years of being ST holders and have decided enough is enough:thumbup:

Renewal can be done online quite easily I think. The renewal button is staring at me, but I just can't bring myself to click it.

You will for away games. That's the only thing that's making me even consider renewing tbh.

I am going to get away tickets from here if anyone is selling on the forum.

Saturday afternoons aren't the problem for me. It's the myriad of other kick off days and times that ruin your life.

Think it was the levein/Kelly era where Iast became disenchanted and gave up ST. Felt like the players just didnt care and we had no direction

And that is one of the main reasons that convinced me not to renew. Football is now for the TV fans and not supporters that attend to make the product what it is. We all saw how poor the spectacle became during the lockdowns and that's where it's heading even without Covid. No more midweek games for me and not that many others either.

All of you cancelling your season tickets forget that your excuse for not being dragged somewhere shite by your other half for one day of the weekend will be gone. No excuse for not going to the tip, no putting off that trip to B&Q,  no excuse for being dragged to fkin Fosse Park, no getting out of taking the kids to their mates’ bounce parties etc etc. The time away from City will quickly lose its gloss. Whereas those of us who have kept our season tickets can look forward to sitting in our own worlds at a peaceful KP half watching a struggling 0-0 draw at home against the giants of Bromley and the like.

You might have just saved the club.

Not for you it won’t on 0 points.
