I think by making existing holders renew before we know what division we are in, on this occasion is a mistake.

The issue they now have is they will have sold tickets at a price that doesn’t match the division we will be in, which initially doesn’t seem a problem.

But the problem  now comes with selling match tickets to the general public which will need to be in line price wise with those of us that have purchased season tickets.

If they  want to fill the ground, they can’t offer price reductions on match days as it will piss the season ticket holders off who have paid full price.

I get they want you to commit to next season, but in doing so they have created a problem for themselves.

It will have been okay in previous seasons, but now we haven’t got a pot to piss in and will be fielding youngsters that could well lead us to mid table mediocrity, we will have people not wanting to go and a price structure that makes it even more likely people will not want to bother.

You could get away with it in previous seasons as there was still a large element of energy towards the club. But that energy has disintegrated over the season and there will be a big swathe of fans that disappear with a pricing structure that makes the decision to not go a lot easier.

So I think by trying to be clever, they actually will have shot themselves in the foot - again

Your logic is floored as match tickets are so much more expensive than the price an ST works out per game, so match tickets could be significantly reduced & ST's will still pay less per game than match ticket buyers

Not quite as simple as this.

STs are sold on the understanding they save you approx 1/3 on match day prices.

Reduce matchday prices by 1/3 and ST holders might ask what the point was?  (From a financial perspective)

So sad that the hate for the owner and Rudkin, has overridden the love for Leicester City.

I think the point is that it isn’t Leicester City anymore. Or in name only.

No it is still Leicester City. The obsession of some posters with calling it KPFC has brainwashed some into believing it. The vast majority of us know who we are and the constant attempt at trying to perpetuate KPFC on us does not work. Whether the owner changes or not, like it or not, you are in a very small minority who think we are anything other than LCFC. Up the CITY

There's been a really huge saving for ages compared to match tickets though.

They can charge £10 less next season and it still be cheaper to buy a season ticket. Plus the perks that come with a season ticket too.

If they don't do any offers we won't get any more than 20,000 on matchdays.

Anyway we still might stay up 👀

He's got his own stand based on these comments lol

Hate the way things are going but the good times will come, I’m not one to walk away through the shit. He comes to nearly every game with me so it’s worth it for him.

Does anyone ITK know how well they are selling?

He said to me today there’s plenty giving them up but loads are wanting them so be interesting to see how many sell. Just waiting on email to stay you’ve been successful, should be a few weeks.

I'd imagine fairly steady.

There's 15000 of the 22000 who'd go each week even if the lady boy personally defecated on their seat.

The ones who give them up are the types a normal club could do with. And the new ones who buy in now are probably the decent ones the club has treated like absolute dog shite these last 10 years.

If we could rid ourselves of the 15k drongos, get the ones back who've jacked it and the new ones who finally have a window to get in, we'd have a club again.

All of you cancelling your season tickets forget that your excuse for not being dragged somewhere shite by your other half for one day of the weekend will be gone. No excuse for not going to the tip, no putting off that trip to B&Q,  no excuse for being dragged to fkin Fosse Park, no getting out of taking the kids to their mates’ bounce parties etc etc. The time away from City will quickly lose its gloss. Whereas those of us who have kept our season tickets can look forward to sitting in our own worlds at a peaceful KP half watching a struggling 0-0 draw at home against the giants of Bromley and the like.

You could always get a divorce. Just saying.

my take on the season ticket situation is that if u wanna renew, renew its your decision and you have the right to make it but the reasons to do so next season are just so so minimal and the lack of direction paired with the dark future makes it an uncomfortable decision

Most fans that give them up will still have membership to keep the points so they intend to get another in one or two seasons anyway. All this I’m walking away is rubbish they’ve just put supporting them on hold.

As far as renewaI goes I think it's possible to have two perspectives at the same time. I ****ing despise the owner, DOF and players with every fibre of my being. Also I enjoy the social element of the match, going away mostly and having a few beers, with the game often incidental. This season I've sacked off about 10 home games and likely do the same next season if not more.
