Stadt Posted 19 April Posted 19 April Challinor has done well at Stockport in a stable environment. Totally different thing here, there’s a strong chance it’d be like when Wilder has been anywhere other than Sheff United (in the championship anyway) 1
Winstonthedog Posted 19 April Posted 19 April Any decent manager with ambition would be crazy to come here and have to work under the influence of the chuckle brothers 1 2

Leicesterpool Posted 19 April Posted 19 April I have horrible feeling the club may consider Darren Ferguson. I think he's only ever been decent at one club and thats peterborough. Dave Channilor gets my vote seems to have long spells at clubs, done decent job at Stockport. Do like Darren Moore also, i know he sacked at port vale but he did get them promoted from league two also lead sheffield wednesday out this league.

Brum will sack him and he plays that dreadful style of play Aiyawatt loves I’ve heard it’s going to be him as well. Brum have got bigger ambitions, and are sacking him after the final game of the season, rumour is it’s a done deal to come to us. It might be BS, but we’ll see.
Leicesterpool Posted 19 April Posted 19 April (edited) I tell you a good management setup Darren Moore as manager with Wes Morgan as his assistant. Wes great knowledge of the club of course and is some great playing experience as well playing in league one also. Having Wes around would bring a massive boost of much needed leadership. Would be hilarious if they try to fix the mess they began by keeping Rodgers on too long by hiring his assistant as the manager. He’s Russell Martin without the nice hair and page 3 wife, I’ll pass
Leicesterpool Posted 19 April Posted 19 April Steve Bruce will apply, if we can't get the manager's we want similar to Rowett we will end up with Bruce sadly. 1
Chelmofox Posted 19 April Posted 19 April Just now, Ian Nacho said: We'll go for Enzo again. See if he fancies it. I imagine they will be contacting Potter in the summer, and wondering why hes not picking up in the morning and the phone bills are so high. 2

I didn’t know that, I wouldn’t be against the appointment but he’ll have had plenty of offers. Giving up on the progress at Stockport for third basket case wouldn’t be prudent. This podcast is really illuminating on why they’re doing well, going from this to Rudkin & Co would be a daft move for him

While Rudkin is at the club, this will not happen. Morgan has ambitions for the boardroom and he left us to go back to forest. Can only read between the lines.

adamkhalifa Posted 20 April Posted 20 April Someone with a high win rate please. Dave Challinor is the only name that fits. Let's not pretend we are pound shop Barcelona please. Do not ask him to play the Leicester way. Let the guy manage the football stuff, and the owner do the owning. Director do the directing and Rudkin, please do not do anything. For a proper reset. Dave Challinor has to bring brings his own style of play and identity. 1

Might explain why so many manager turn us down, they don't like to be told how they want the team to play. Late Vichai never seemed bothered by the brand of football as long as results brought us wins. This tip tap football seems to have come from either Rudkin or Top.
Vindaloo FOX Posted 20 April Posted 20 April My money is on it being Alan Sheehan, another young manager who will be happy to be a yes man.

STUHILL Posted 20 April Posted 20 April I am sure that Top and Rudkin will get someone in early and not waste the whole Summer, to only end up making a last minute appointment that no one wants
Pliskin Posted 20 April Posted 20 April In the words of the famous word smith Dwayne, “the rock” Johnson. “It doesn’t matter who our manager is”.

He had to apologise to all the players. Would never have worked. Another report of the power these players have had at this club, no wonder the dressing room has been so toxic. Top is weak and should have sorted this after Cooper was sacked. The troublemakers need naming and humiliating in the press. 1
