I'd have to see this shirt in real life before judging it.

By the looks of it now, it's a toughie. Some elements I like, others I find rather repulsive. The wyvern pattern offers something new and distinctive, not a big fan of the tacky and rather dominant stripes, though.

I can't wait for the away and third kit, should be much more interesting.

How much longer does this Adidas deal run? One year? I want us to go back to Puma so bad.

What have you seen from Puma to want them to make our kits? They are Terry bull

For me it’s very hard to like adidas kits, because they all look like adidas kits.

The shirts might have some nice design features on them, but when you look at it, all your eyes are drawn to is the three stripes down the sleeve - it’s the main trim of any adidas shirt and it makes it automatically dull because it’s essentially the same design every time.

The cynic in me says there must be a 3rd division Burmese team who use this pattern and Adidas have just dyed it blue and stuck a sticker on the inside of the neck.I find it hard to believe that they have knocked this up just for us!

I really like it but for £70....hard sell.

I know this isn't exclusive to LCFC. The England top is ridiculous price. I want to kit our my son, but going to wait for the sales. Just refuse to pay these prices for football stuff. It's pricing some fans out of showing their pr their kids/ family support.

Sad times

Im going to be a nerd now but my first adult kit was the bukta 90-92 and cost £16.99 at the church gate shop.  In today's money that's about £47.  So football kits have never been cheap but 70 quid is way over the rate of inflation.  I suppose football as a whole is though.  Its simple really though, if people pay it, then the companies think they got the pricing right.

As an aside, new kit isn't bad.  No gold, nod to the actual city.  Could be worse

Most things are way over the rate of inflation these days. Not defending these feckers, but it’s a sorry state of the economy.

Just so pleased they've ditched the gold and at the very least tried something that means something to us.

Agree with this but then BC Game takes a big steaming dump on all of that.

Not to mention, as soon as we are remotely on the national or international scene again then they'll want to pander to Thailand.

From some marketing I’ve seen I sort of assumed the pattern had some historical links or significance to the city, but it seems that it’s just roots? Is that right? If so it’s shite imo.

Have you actually looked at the kit mate lol
