I feel sorry for anyone who was duped into paying £20 for this. No vardy, mahrez or kante, yet it’s being billed as the team that won the league playing again, without the best players. Make it make sense. Another desperate money

In the end I don't think anyone benefited financially from this apart from some ex Stoke and West Brom players.

A truly electric atmosphere at the King Power Bowl! Shows what can be achieved without the toxic boo boys virgin mosh pit silly section!

Agreed. Don't remember those kids being around in 1973 unlike us proper fans!

Is Top at this? When he couldn't come to actual ****ing league matches all season..

Any opportunity to flaunt when he thinks was an achievement by him and his Dad.

He didn’t flaunt anything.

Some of you need to start ranting about things after they’ve actually happened

Same old vitriol here, was hoping for something better. I went to the match and it was good to see Claudio and the players. They put everything into it in that sweltering heat for the love of the fans. They cared.
Lots of laughs and positivity.. so glad the fans there supported the team from 15/16.

Back in the day we fund raised for the Vichai banner and took a lot of time and effort to get the banner up.  We went up to check on it today. He’d be proud of the lads who made an appearance today.

I'm sure he'd be more bothered about the club being in the third division than this joke of an event

Best thing about that was after Fuchs scored his pen, the linesman put his hand out for a handshake which fuchs dodged and the lino styled into a headscratch. Worth £20 alone

Hearing Top is offering Claudio a contract.

He would do a lot better than our last few muppets

I think you can both support the lot that were there today and also be absolutely fuming at the state of our club currently - it doesn’t have to be one or the other - it’s not the lads faults that played today the state the club is currently in

can’t say I love the optics but it is what it is - better than the club doing nothing to commemorate it - agreed it’s now back to the sad state of affairs that we find ourselves in but I wouldn’t be giving stick to those who enjoyed today for their own reasons either

Huh?

Didn't I say i am glad she had a good time but the whole thing was a joke?

Don't know if you have quoted the wrong person or just didnt read what I put.

Was there any indication as to why Shinji wasn't there?

I read somewhere that he had work duties as manager of a German lower league team.

Wikipedia has this.....

"Okazaki co-founded the German football club Basara Mainz in the 2014–15 season when he was a player of Mainz 05. Now he serves as the club adviser. The club is run by the other co-founder, Takashi Yamashita, former player of Mainz's reserve team. Basara Mainz started in tier 11 of the German league. It was promoted to tier 6, Verbandliga Südwest, in 2019".

Looks as good as the day it was made, they don't make flags of that quality anymore. 😉

Albrighton is still better than most players we have in the squad.

Put more dangerous crosses into the box in 90 minutes than Mavididi managed all season.
