It'll be the same two things it's been for years. Top doesn't have the decisiveness and bollocks of his dad. That and we can't actually afford to sack the ****. 2
Cropwellfox Posted 6 September Posted 6 September We’ve got a squad who should do pretty well whatever the set up this season, it’s entirely on this clown that we’ve started like we have. Making players look worse than they are all over the shop. 2

Gav_LCFC14 Posted 6 September Posted 6 September Wait for 6 more loses and until promotion looks impossible. Its the King Power way. 1
Stadt Posted 6 September Posted 6 September He’ll get sacked the first game AFTER the (extended) international break. 3

Hate myself for saying it, but a Stockport thumping might do us a favour. Hopfully our ownership will take a leaf out of Southamptons book last year and how they dealt with Will Still. It all makes sense now. We're waiting for Will Still to get sacked at Auxerre (played 3, lost 5-2, 3-1 & 3-1). Then we'll sack RM and insert Still at the top of the list.
JJD_LCFC Posted 6 September Posted 6 September Yesterdays game shows he has lost the team already. they didn’t play with any determination or intensity. Looked motionless at 2-3-and 4-0 down. players will give a new coach his first training session, first new signing to see if he can spot a good player or not, and tactical decisions in a couple of games they will be bored of his coaching and input already. first signing was Cullen- not even good enough for the bench. And there is only one game plan which makes all defenders play under pressure. add in Russell throws players under the bus rather than take any accountability. Another disaster of an appointment which was always going to happen. stockport away a very tough game as well against a good team who play league one football, as it should be played and we should do. to think Challinor was available in the summer too. 2

Must be on a different forum to you. Don't think I've seen anybody rate him. Any 'positivity' has been more about the fact he has banged on about standards and he's at least given some of the younger players a run 4

Looking at this weekend,Macateer, Fatawu, Justin, Maguire, Bassey,Tielemans, Dewsbury Hall, Chilwell, all seemed to be doing ok, we won’t see their like again in my lifetime…..similarly, our academy, Chilwell, Dewsbury,Monga, Macateer, Page still in negotiations add that Alves, Nelson, Braybrook, Joseph,Aluko, will raise more money than its cost to run it, and finally Man CIty bought two players for more than the value of our club….the game has changed, we have gone backwards, them great days have gone, and they ain’t coming back…..

I am old enough to have suffered bad times but I think you are correct…..this Club is finished unless there is a radical (miracle) any time soon. What Rudkin has overseen with the blessing of KP is nothing short of monstrous. how is he still in a job??????? 1
lgfualol Posted 6 September Posted 6 September He should be gone by now. What’s happening? Nobody likes the football, there are even chants clowning the manager, and we’ve been getting battered for 3 straight seasons. I just don’t understand it. Obviously though, we will sack him and take a few weeks to get someone in. Andy King is probably already having panic attacks thinking about being the interim manager again. 1
Bfaptu Posted 6 September Posted 6 September Calling up the ticket office tomorrow to cancel the season tickets. What a waste. 1

Well you may be right, I was told that there were players who might otherwise have stayed, who departed as they were not buying into his philosophy or methods.

lookwhaticando Posted 6 September Posted 6 September 3 hours ago, David Hankey said: So, in answer to my question which you avoided, would we in this mess now? All you have done is stated the reasons you think why BR had to go. Would we be in this specific mess? Maybe. Maybe not. Would we be in some mess of similar nature? Almost certainly. Imagine we didn’t sack Brendan when we did (already too late). We probably still got relegated. Let’s imagine the board was happy for him to relegate us without sacking him (if we didn’t sack him in April, presumably we wouldn’t have bothered sacking him in May or June)… well we would then have Brendan being responsible for trying to get us promoted back at the first attempt. We spend Enzo money on Brendan recruitment… and would a man who took a team that finished 8th and get it relegated have what it takes to turn them into promotion contenders? The very man who set the standards (or lack thereof) in the preceding seasons… I’m finding hard to imagine Brendan would get us promoted if he was here post-relegation. Presumably since we don’t want to sack anyone, he’d see out his contract. We’d be in the Championship still - the finances take a bigger hit sooner with a second consecutive season in the Championship. As far as I can picture it, not sacking Brendan puts us in a mess. It may not be League One under Martin, maybe it’s Championship under Martin with rapidly deteriorating finances. Either way, it’s still a mess.
