He's a very strange guy. Always thought Rodgers was essentially a very capable manager let down by personality issues but this guy takes it to the next level, while simultaneously not having any actual qualities.

Indeed. He's very unlikeable but his main skillset from what I hear is doing PowerPoint presentations to idiot board members of football clubs who employ the clown.

I genuinely don't see what anybody ever Saw or sees in him. His teams always do shit and the football is always torture and the fans always end up hating him with a passion.

He should never get another manager job ever again

We may have persevere with Martin until the club is sold. Don't want Top and Rudkin near any more appointments. Let the new owners whoever they be deal with the useless clown.

Well it's not boring is it? We are creating chances just not scoring enough of them, and we are also conceding a fair few. It's the daft mistakes at the back and missing chances or fu king up the final ball at the other end, it's fine lines.

In the last couple of games, prior to that it had been appalling and in most gakes the opposition had created more than us. I really struggle to see how anyone can be bullish about what they are seeing, i'd almost understand if we had consistently pummelled teams but let down by appalling finishing but our chance creation across the entire season is very poor.

He is the epitome of the modern football manager. Far more about image and reputation than progressing with that club. That is why a non-PR bloke like Pearson is so popular.

Bellers has us playing fast paced vertical football, taking risks in the opposition half, playing one-twos to speed up the pace of play, playing balls round the corner to beat the press.

Some of our football at its best has been electric, we're just let down by the fact we've got a team full of EFL squad filler and no real prolific scorers but you can see the DNA in what he's doing and it's great.

He's also inspiring confidence in young players and deliberately giving them an opportunity to shine, not using them as an excuse when shit goes wrong.

I'd take him over Martin in a heartbeat, unfortunately his future is... well. Not in League One.

Wales....electric 😶

Also in his "people don't appreciate the process and my style of football" attitude. The Dunning-Kruger manager.

The only stats that matter

Russell Martin

Goals conceded as manager

Career: 1.43 Leicester City 1.6

Win Ratio

Career 38.57 Leicester City 36.36

RM' s supporters have to explain why they're so confident he'll outperform his career averages to date.

Honestly, some of the combination play and the attacking movement coached in to our players is genuinely worth watching. As is the massive, relentless amount of graft we put in. The defensive performances at time are absolutely heroic, bodies everywhere in front of shots when we're under the kosh, none of the abject laziness we get at Leicester. The players definitely go out fired up to play for him.

Obviously he was working very closely with Kompany wasn't he? The way Bayern play, their verticality and their willingness to pick up the pace between the lines? There's a lot of similarity there with how Bellamy sets his team up. You can see what he's trying to do and it's far more adventurous than any attempt at possession / passing football we've seen on a Leicester pitch in years.

Like I'm not an idiot, our squad is naff, he's obviously hamstrung by our lack of quality and a massive lack of depth when guys like Wilson and Brooks are missing.  But it'll be interesting watching Bellamy's career when he gets a crack with a proper team.

I think Wanya Marcal's goal last night is a good example of everything that is wrong. For five years we've watched ourfull backs fail to get close to their wingers. It happened again.

Granted the space, Marcal didn't stop to think about his options, didn't think about dinking the ball harmlessly to the back post, didn't think about turning back to guarantee possession, didn't think about trying to place the ball right in the corner of the net. He realised a goal was on and went for it with conviction. He hit it hard, got it on target.  and changed the course of the game. In moments like that, matches are won and lost.

Watson, Doyle and Alves found themselves in similar positions last night and either hesitated, overplayed or underhit their shots. And they've been doing the same over and over again all season and will probably continue doing the same. What's the difference? One plays for a team that realises the paramount importance of scoring a goal, the rest play for a team maximising stats such as  possession and shots.

Genuine question but do we actually have a defensive coach?

I think it's more about energy, intensity and vibes than boring things like tactics.
