Probably five, six years ago.

 

But yes, besides FC Midtjylland last season, Danish clubs have been largely anonymous in Europe for a long time.
Incidentally, FC Midtjylland were already knocked out in the EL qualis, although they had by far the toughest draw against Besiktas.

 

FC Copenhagen are the worst they've been in decades, so I wouldn't expect much from them this season either.

After being rejected by Chelsea too basically .

 

Rashford has been linked with a move to Turkey too.

Their clubs must have found a lot of cash behind the sofa again .

Great result for CSKA Sofia tonight in a Eurovision rerun :beer:

 

Interestingly there are 2 CSKA Sofias competing in European football this year. I would think that's the first time something like that's happened.
