Physically fine sure but hes extremely clumsy and poor on the ball. Its staggering how someone scouted this guy (or equally so if we didn't) 2 years ago and thought he will fit right in in the best league in the world

Have you watch much L1 football?

Most certainly not, and maybe you are right and he will do okay, but I can only go off how poor he was in the championship.

How good do you think the average L1 CB is technically?

He's physically fine which is important in L1.

Physically fine is pushing it, bloke ****ed us against Charlton by being bullied

Okoli is a donkey. If hes our starting centre back he will get sent off at least twice this season and be responsible for a goal against us every other game.

Being sent off at least twice in a season isn’t so bad lad.

Okoli will be fine.

Just move him on and then move on Ballard.  However, I do not think we can let both him and Nelson go in this window.

Yeah, neither of them will be here by the end of the window.

I agree, Ballard won't be here as it would mean paying a fee.

I must admit I am always a bit salty about players that are injured for a long time, use the medical team, facilities and Seagrave spa and the minute they are better want out 🤨

A la Fofana... although injuries ruined him so we did sell at best possible time to be fair!

Steve Walsh was worse and he is a club legend.

Didn’t Sheff Utd get in trouble for not paying transfer fees owed?

Well, that's them not buying Souttar then.

It will just force them to pay up.

we’d be a bit foolish to enter into a transfer agreement  with them knowing there’s a possibility they’d do this to us aswelll

which is a bit ironic but hey ho..

Why all the negativity here?

Souttar is vastly underrated.

He is tall, heads all the balls out the box when they come in (unlike Vesty), he is surprisingly mobile given his height, and he has a great tackle. Definitely a Premier League defender. We are lucky if he stays.

Our defence was so much better after he came back from injury. Played really well in the World Cup too.

In League One, he is going to not any goal through him.

He's not going to be here.

Souttar deal officially agreed, £5.5m + roughly £3.5m addons.
Medical likely to go ahead tomorrow, should he announced over the weekend/Monday.

That doesn’t even cover his book value does it?

Terrible deal if true

It's a shame but I think he's just too good for this league and wants a fresh start I guess.

More money in and another higher earner off the books. Wish someone somewhere would want Faes.

I think with the add-ons its not far off?

He wants out and we have a buyer for half decent money. We can't win them all, unfortunately.
