However, we are managed by Russell Martin. I can see this one dragging on. Sheffield Utd clearly don’t have the funds to pay what we want and we don’t appear inclined to back down. I can’t see how them offering us an unwanted player who is completely unsuited to Martin’s style is going to change that.

My son in law lives in Brighton and works at the swimming pool on the front (he's also a Florist fan which is unbearable, but he doesn't give me too much stick). RM visits occasionally and I've been told the opposite by my son in law. Really likeable bloke, talks to everyone and quite honest about what he has learnt from his managerial experiences. No suggestion about him being full of himself or arrogant, but I suppose on different days someone can act differently.

As others have said, you need a bit of that to be successful in sport, business and life in general. I like the cut of his jib, so far. MGLCFC Posted 3 August Posted 3 August would love to keep Souttar, particularly if Nelson has a long term injury, but only if he is fully committed to being here, which is where I think the difficulty is. If he's asked to move, then just get the best price possible and reinvest in the type of defender that will suite RM's style of play.
