What position do you play? They are all up for grabs so good luck to you. If you at least try and run a bit, you'll be an improvement on most of last seasons squad

There is a lot of valid and justified pi$$taking about this but what an opportunity for the club to re-engage with young fans. I know old b@stards like me would rather stick needles in my eyes than watch Thomas, Choudhury and Faes in an open training session but anything that reconnects our younger fanbase is to be applauded.

You actually raise a very valid and good point tbf

 

And actually fair play for saying it, most people of the older age myself included would naturally think pfff what a load of pointless **** but having the actual mindset to be able to think outside your own echo chamber of anger towards the Club still and be able to point out things like this I feel is important.

 

I have zero interest personally in the event, but my little lad would LOVE to see the team up close and training, I may yet consider it, see if his Mum wants to take him

This is great for the youngsters. I remember taking my children to some of these at Filbo. They loved it, being so close to their heroes. They don’t have cynical or hateful feelings towards the club like older supporters and the memories stay with them. So if you have children but your animosity for the club is so great, try and be the better person, forget your feelings, and help your kids feel like you may have done when you were young and take them along. They are only interested in Leicester City, not who owns the club or board members.

We went to the one under Enzo, Kids met some of the players and Elliot and Tags in the club shop. They loved it. Its easy to be negative and with good reason, but this isn't for us oldies that are tainted with what has happened over the last few years.
