Strange strange line up. I get that it's just a season work out but the bench is very strong and Faeces and Souttar playing is next to pointless as they won't be here come the end of August. Looking forward to seeing Chaplin, and Carr has looked very promising so far.

guess so or, maybe a 4231 with Chaplin in the 10 Evans and Carr one side and Hutchinson up top

Yeah I would guess Carr and Evans Wing Hutchinson ST, Chaplin number 10 ahead of Hamza and Neale

With how much he has been changing it up from game to game I don’t think there is anyway to know really who is seen as first choice in any position other than maybe Aluko

This is not a first choice XI so I'm not sure why this would imply McCarthy is first choice.
