moore_94 Posted 22 July Posted 22 July If he isn't going to be involved for us this season then we definitely need to get Carr a loan with a counter attacking team He will thrive
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 22 July Posted 22 July This hasn’t been very good from what I’ve seen - we’re clueless with the ball and causing ourselves our own problems.

RichardGearman Posted 22 July Posted 22 July What is the point in having wide players hugging the touchline, baiting the press to trap us inside and then continue to try to play through when everyone is being man marked centrally? Please Russell tell me there's an instruction going to the players on that stuff PLEASE!
Rubbersoul Posted 22 July Posted 22 July Is this just a normal 90 minute game? So another 11 for the second half
LCFCCKEANO Posted 22 July Posted 22 July It’ll look different with Mavididi and Alves on I think, we desperately need a striker or two and a winger or two 1
Stopharage Posted 22 July Posted 22 July Looking at the ground, it’s great to see we’re still a massive draw on the continent. 3
DAS Boot Posted 22 July Posted 22 July In all honesty, they were all a bit crap that half apart from Carr and Oluko. 1
JimJams Posted 22 July Posted 22 July Midfield has been non existent. Odd selection of players for it really.
sm1 Posted 22 July Posted 22 July This is going to be like a typical game for us. We've been pressed in defence and we've just coughed the ball. So many times our wingers are free and we're just pissing about in defence. 1
moore_94 Posted 22 July Posted 22 July (edited) Rough going forward but... In all fairness our attack consisted of 2 18 year old wingers and a 17 year old striker With a midfield of Hamza (who can't pass), Neale (who is struggling a bit but the pitch really isn't helping), and Chaplin in his first pre-season minutes Edited 22 July by moore_94 4
copunk Posted 22 July Posted 22 July 1st half summed up Pitch is awful Midfield struggling McCarthy with some good saves Aluko one of the first names on the team sheet Chaplin done ok, nothing stand out Hope Riley Carr plays some part this season, has looked very good so far this pre season
TommyK Posted 22 July Posted 22 July Neale not ready. Keeper is the only one to come out with credit.
coolhandfox Posted 22 July Posted 22 July People need to chill its pre-season on pitch that looks like a potato field with a side thats throw together. 4

Choudhury and Chaplin not good enough considering their experience. Neale struggling as well although it is more understandable and he was probably the better of the 3.
Devonfox1884 Posted 22 July Posted 22 July Only Aluko, Chaplin are likely starters at Notts from that XI. Possibly McCarthy and Choudhury too. Carr looks tidy. Aside from him and Aluko the other youngsters look a little off the pace.

RowlattsFox Posted 22 July Posted 22 July Half watched whilst cooking and thought the young lads have done OK. No idea if this is a 'strong' cadiz team, and to be honest, I don't even know what league they are in. They have looked more likely to score and we've been pretty poor going forward on the ball although a couple of times the press has worked well. Hope Chaplin isn't going to be down the middle too often. Good to see Souttar and Chaplin sticking up for the young lads though after a typical Spanish overreaction
