Still need shift a few like Okoli and possibly Skipp. I dont dislike Skipp but his wages are obscene for the level we are at. Finding a taker for him would be the hard part

On evidence so far i am really pleased seeing our midfield look so composed. The defense situation needs sorting because okoli, nelson, faes and souttar are not going to be here. Otchere looks the real deal, great movement and had an instinct for goals.

We look well cover at RB with Aluko and Joseph.

I've only watched the second half so far. 

First thoughts are that playing out from the back we look rushed. Up front we are lacking. In between were playing some nice stuff at times. Seems to be an instruction to not touch the ball more that twice if possible so we're moving it quite quickly. 

A little more sense in our own third and a decent purchase or two up front and it could be interesting.

I do think Aluko is a bit further ahead in his development and probably going to be starting more - at least at the start of the season

Aluko can play CB and LB as well right? Can Joseph? possibly both of them could be in the same defence?

Yeah and I think Aluko left back with Joseph right back could be an option

 

I wouldn't want to play Aluko centre back as I think it wouldn't really allow him to go forward with the ball like we have seen him do in pre-season

Think Aluko has more physicality at the moment.

 

Interestingly Joseph has more experience due to his loan at Tranmere.

 

Wish we'd had loaned Aluko last as a years experience would have done him wonders.

Aluko can also cover left back which is ideal to have versatile players. Still think we will need a new left back though to compete with Thomas and leave Aluko and Joseph competing at rb. Centre backs, left back and a centre forward are probably our biggest areas we need to improve and possibly a right winger. Would be good to get a few loans, especially at centre back as we are potentially going to need 3 or 4 new ones if our current ones all leave
