Any potential buyer will realise the club will be very well supported if they give us a manager ... a team and a style of football that is better than the sh1t we have had to put up with over the past few seasons ... and the money will roll in

Boelhy is a funny suggestion. When he arrived at Chelsea, he didn’t know they had to qualify for the Champions League and found relegation bewildering. Can’t see him dealing with two seasons of graft

Why would that instasuccess craving twat buy us lol

Chelsea fans hate him because he isn't craving instant success.

He's built a team of kids that should be ready to compete in 3/4 years whereas their fans want someone ready for now.

It includes a bigger and better training centre and ground which no other league one club has.

the training ground is state of the art and will be attractive however currently it could also be seen as a negative, given its high running costs, effectively it’s unsustainable whilst we are outside the premier league, particularly without parachute payments. So that will have to be factored into any due diligence.

I think the opportunity of obtaining an MCO especially to someone who can see the benefits and opportunities of operating this type of model will be really appealing to certain interested parties.

I don't think that was his intention. He signed everyone under the sun when he first got there thinking he could just buy the success.

Bottom line is, if you own Leicester City in the present day you can't magic up overnight the short fall in income and expenditure.

A good chunk of our debt is leveraged up on the diminishing future income we are to receive from parachute payments and players we've sold so whilst not a huge unaccounted risk it also doesn't cover future costs we may incur which we undoubtedly will.

So you best be willing to front up the tens of millions over whatever period to bridge that gap before we a) increase revenue both football wise and commercially and/or b) get sporting achievement that naturally brings an increase in revenue that might negate the need for owner injection.

Whilst i'm biased about Charlie Methven being an expert, I think he's right that any prospective new owner could say club is worth x but 2 years worth of propping up the club is worth y and deduct that off the asking price and see who blinks first.

With the current asking price being so high I suspect potential buyers will just bide their time and wait for Aiyawatt to give in.

He and King Power afford to can't run the club outside of the Premier League. He might be gambling on this season being a roaring success followed by another one next year to get us into the Premier League but I suspect all potential buyers would sooner wait for the price to drop.

The big draw with LCFC is that we're a project for someone to come and buy us cheaply and rebuild us. No point in paying Premier League/top end Championship money for a club with debt coming out of it's arse in League 1.

If we don't go up this season then there's a good chance that it all gets taken out of Aiyawatt's hands anyway.

About 90% of the players he's signed there have been 21 or younger.

Yes for massive money, but the plan was always to build the club up with young players and that was always going to take time. Chelsea fans want him to buy players ready for the present day.

All of the land assets can be repurposed into money making elements. It just takes a lot of hard cash which they would want to factor into any deal.

Its why I think the most attractive bit of land is actually the land purchased for the stadium extension as the ability to make that profitable and the time to do it is a lot easier than any re-purposing of Seagrave

Seagrave could make money if you opened up the golf course and decided to rent out certain elements. Eg- the hotel for teams playing Forest / villa

FA did it with St George’s Park. Went from being completely private to allow Marriott to operate a hotel and spa there. It’s just a lot of hard capital cash to make it happen and would be a few obstacles to pass on planning etc

1: Todd Boehly is never leaving Chelsea to buy us. Never in a million years.

2: If he did, he's not exactly known for being financially responsible, is he? He's only got away with it because Chelsea are one of the "big six". I know HE has money but he has a flagrant disregard for the rules and would soon realise that owning us isn't like playing Football Manager and cheating so you've got a massive budget.

Wouldn't make a dent in the running costs of the thing, would be a small contributor. You are probably better off shutting elements of it down in the short term.

The running costs are overstated.

Even if they are halved, in league 1 it’s massively unsustainable.

Every cost we have is unsustainable in league one and to some extent the championship too, my point was that people quote the 14m, but my understanding is that its a fair bit less than that.

And the mens teams can do all the grounds maintenance etc

I think the difference is the women and the academy lads if you asked them to help probably would the 'experienced men' on high wages and tight contracts would say not me!

What’s up, Foxes fans! We didn’t get a copy of the deck, but Anthony reassured us the club is actively listening to offers. I actually reached out to my buddy Todd Boehly over at Chelsea, and he’s super interested in doing a full buyout.

Honestly, bringing in an American ownership group like Todd’s could be a massive win for the franchise. We're talking serious front office investment, roster retooling, and bringing that elite USA sports business playbook straight to the near London Leicestershire Foxes. Definitely something to keep an eye on as the front office navigates this acquisition phase.

That would involve them covering every blade of grass …… not really something that they are renowned for. 😞
