The young guys keep showing up and put in a shift. The senior player were, well meh. I think we need some experienced heads to get promoted next season but remain totally unconvinced it’s the experienced players already in our dressing room.

These youngsters have made me motivated to watch Leicester City again, the Braybrooke and Page combo in the first half especially was a joy to watch. 
 

Russell has a serious selection headache when it comes to our midfield. 
 

In terms of what needs addressing the most, a striker has to come through the door this week, I think we need another RW and our CB position needs revamping.

Hopefully the club will learn a lot from what the youth are showing this pre season (and hopefully the season to come) and will realise that they need to blood the youth properly going forward.

Keep every single one of those youngsters. Yes we need to ensure we have seasoned pros in there. But every good thing about us and the effort and the heart is coming from them.

I'm thoroughly chilled, it's a friendly, bit the manner in which some of them play is infuriating. There's still some bad eggs and overpaid lazy shit to get rid of before the season starts. I don't want Souttar, Reid, Faes etc getting in the way of the academy lads who are giving their all.

Mate I'm literally saying what everyone else is. We all care about the club. Souttar was a statue, doesn't want to be here. Play all the kids. Loads of positives, I'm actually looking forward to the season. Just hope Martin dorsnt bottle it come the league season and start playing Reid Skipp and all the other senior cloggers. Neale, Lorenz, Riley Carr, Page, Bray Brooke, Joseph, Aluko, Kirsten all the way.

On a serious note, after watching Sassuolo generally only use him for cameos last season, his positional sense is a bit off. If RM wants one of the fullbacks pushing up though I reckon he's a good shout.
