They’d rather be angry than understanding… and the problem doubles down come September with those who are left and we need to try and move on in Jan. if we’re doing ok then they’ll keep their places which means the younger ones don’t get the chance they deserve. which sort of begs the question why we’ve bought in more experience before we’ve got rid of some more ‘deadwood’. I do hope that rudkin and top aren’t still vetoing sale deals on the basis that they don’t meet the valuation. if so, macarron may not hang around. 1

This are my thoughts as well, also between September and December these are expensive players to have sat in the stands, if not for the manager but definitely for an owner and chief football officer trying to save face for what has been some irresponsible and horrific outlay on wages, contracts and in some cases fees. I think the experience we signed in the summer was to bring in the required characters to help with the reset of the culture and probably with the view that the current crop would be on their way by now.

So we’re going to give them a platform to show the better version of themselves.” That immediately made me think we’re going to see a few names today that most of us would probably rather have moved on by now. Wouldn’t be surprised at all if there are one or two selections in the XI that cause a bit of a meltdown on here, and rightfully so. We never learn! very much depends who it tbh. I don't much rate the bush kangaroo, but he's one of the few signings we've made in recent years that you can't fault for attitude, only just being a bit wank. Similarly Stolarcyk had a torrid season last year but he's still an alright keeper who you'd be fine getting a chance to put it behind him. Faes or Mavididi and he'll have started himself off on a very bad note

LCFC1996 Posted 15 August Posted 15 August Not mad at it...Page missing out sort of makes sense with the speculation, would still have him over Hamza tbf, Bristric for Reid once he's up to speed too. No Faes or Mavididi 👏
